The river has heavy tidal flow (no river use from home). The Hoquiam River support runs of Chinook, chum, and coho salmon, steelhead, and sea-run trout. just a couple of miles upriver from Historic Downtown Hoquiam restaurants, stores and shops, 20 min to coast 45 min drive to Lake Quinault hiking trails South Shore Trailhead.

We spent 2023 transforming it into a little slice of the Wild West (with a twist) full of antiques, & fun decor to make you feel like you’ve traveled back in time but with all the modern day comforts. Pull up a stool in the Saloon, or gather ‘round the poker table & enjoy music from a 1900’s player piano. We also have a fun arcade room, a jail for fun photo ops & more!

You'll find restaurants, a supermarket and more in town. Nearby you'll find two state parks. Ocean beaches are an easy drive away, and we're on the Olympic National Park loop. 3 bedroom home on 2.5 acres overlooking the lower Columbia River. Main floor includes master suite with 2 queen beds, 2nd bedroom with 1 queen bed. Downstairs daylight basement includes 1 queen, 2 twins. All rooms have a view of the Columbia River! We are 9 miles off Hwy 4 in Wahkiakum county. Definitely out in the country! Guests often enjoy seeing deer and bald eagles flying by. The last couple of miles are pretty winding, but the view at the end is worth it!

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each.
