We loved our stay here! The cabin was adorable and in a great location. Very peaceful but close to town. The host was communicative and kind enough to accommodate our request for a late checkout. I also appreciated that there were not outrageous cleaning requests before checkout like some airbnb's have. We hope to come back and stay again in the future.

The best view on Terrapin! Has everything you could need! Tons of space, private and the outdoor area is drool worthy!

Tanya's place was perfect for a large group. We loved it from the moment we walked in and appreciated her thoughtfulness in having plenty of towels and firewood. Tanya was super responsive and helpful with our questions. We stayed here while climbing at nearby Sand Rock and we cannot wait to come back and stay again!

The space was super clean and thoughtfully put together. It had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great pressure plus plenty of hot water. The binder was super helpful and had great information about the community, parks and restaurants. Loved our stay!

The cabin was perfect for our family Christmas getaway!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals. The location is secluded but still close enough to get to stores if you forget something and there is a lot of amazing hiking within a short drive of the cabin. Misti was an amazing host and super proactive in communications and everything was very clear. I would highly recommend! And they decorated for Christmas (even with a tree) so we felt right at home!

Wow! David & Lilly’s cottage was exactly what my family needed. We spent 3 nights and enjoyed the comfort and privacy of this home. My son loved playing the ukelele and my daughter loved having the screened porch day-bed to read Harry Potter on. Our golden retriever loved getting in the creek and woods behind the home. We enjoyed cooking together snd were thankful for how well-stocked the kitchen was with anything you could think of. We enjoyed finding board games to play and books to look at. The host had a sweet welcome note for our family and treats for our dog. My family enjoyed visiting Desoto State Park and doing the ropes course/zip-line. Highly recommend this cottage!

Highly recommend! The cabin is stunning, situated right atop the river - you can hear the river rushing and it’s so serene. It’s in a central location to Desoto State Park & Falls, a perfect spot for Mentone. Jess was incredible. This was my first ever AirBNB experience & I wasn’t sure what to expect, usually being a hotel stayer, but she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Super friendly & helpful. There was expected severe weather for my stay & she was very communicative with keeping me updated & making sure I felt safe. She was also extremely accommodating with flexible check in & check out times as well as accepting my dog and making sure the place felt cozy & had what we needed. You will not regret your stay here!

We felt truly at home at Ellen's place. A great example of a remote cabin enjoying all that nature has to offer. The cabin is fully equipped and very comfortable. We would stay again.

My husband and I went there on our 4th wedding anniversary trip and we had a blast! It was perfect for just the two of us. The view of the river was amazing and the scenery was beautiful! We went to Desoto falls and it is definitely worth the visit!! We also went to the Mad Hatter Cafe (it was delicious!) ,the Mentone market and the the little town near it (it has very good ice cream. I recommend the raspberry cheese cake if they have it!) over all we had a amazing trip and will come back again. We definitely recommend!!
