Vedder River Retreat

Welcome to the Vedder River Retreat! We’re 15 min away from Cultus Lake, 25 min away from Chilliwack lake and nestled amongst endless hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures that await you! Have a fire during campfire season or kick back beside the creek right outside the patio door and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the river! Escape to Mt Baker, Cottage, hot tub& hi speed wif

This is an original 1920's small downtown Glacier Cottage. It is tucked away in the forest at the end of the road with the large lodge next door. The cottage is within three minute walk to town and 20 minute drive to Mt. Baker. The cottage has a king size bed and full size futon. The cottage is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Check out the private hot tub. You can catch the Baker bus from Graham's if you do not want to drive.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. Unwind in our space and let it all fall away. We welcome you to breath deeply and relax at our cabin. Ask us about our wedding venue!

Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.

Located on the bank of the Vedder river near Chilliwack B.C., our family cabin for more than 50 years, is only a short drive from the city. Superb in season salmon river fishing, with lakes and trails nearby. While the summer months are the most popular, garden lovers will appreciate the months of April and May and the burst of colour.
