Fort Ticonderoga is 4.5 miles from the cabin. The Ticonderoga beach on Lake George is 5.5 miles, Mossy Point Boat launch (Lake George) is 4 miles away and the boat launch to Lake Champlain is 4.5 miles. Mt. Defiance is 3 miles away. Star Trek Original Series set tour is 2.3 miles away. The Barn at Lord Howe Valley 3.6 miles.

Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The Peasant's Quarters has an eat-in kitchen with a full-size stove/fridge. In the bedroom is a queen-size bed. We also have a queen-size pull-out couch. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a private entrance with on-site parking. We are not far away from all the fun in Lake Placid/ Lake George or a day trip into Vt. Walk the bridge. Paddle-board around the protected bay, rent a boat and go out on Lake George's peaceful north end and return to your own dock space, sip coffee during the sunrise on the screened porch and head over to your private beach with views of rogers rock for the sunset!

Quaint 1-bedroom cottage on Blue Ledge Farm

This cozy cottage is on Blue Ledge Farm- a working goat dairy. It is a one-bedroom with a double fold-out futon in living room to potentially fit 4 guests. It is within 15 minutes of both Brandon and Middlebury, 1 hour south of Burlington. Pets are allowed, on leash. It can possibly include a farm and cheese tasting for an extra $20 per person (contact host in advance). It is the perfect place if you're an animal or cheese lover looking for a rustic and relaxing stay on a beautiful farm.

The Beebe Farm was started in 1921 by Fred and Pearl Beebe. There are now four generations of Beebe's who have farmed this land. I enjoy booking my two-story in-law apartment with a private entrance, which is attached to my 1850 Poultney Village home. I am located a block from Main Street with shops, books, and eateries. I am in the lakes region of Vermont, close to both Lake St. Catherine and Lake Bomoseen. Killington is 35 miles away. We am also located a mile from the NY border and the entrance to Lake George and the Adirondacks.
