The location was peaceful. Did not know the owners lived on the property. They did give us privacy. Love the fire pit and the front porch with a smaller fire pit. Maybe add a small grill?? Just a thought. Inside was cozy. Not used to the stairs…lol!! It did give me a workout. Great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Very pleasant.

Although it was freezing during my stay, I still enjoyed my time here. The tent was exactly as pictured and the porta potty in site was spotless. I will definitely return when it is a little warmer.

Very clean and just as described. This was our 2nd time staying here. Wish the weather was better so we could have taken advantage of the hot tub!

Perfect retreat in the heart of the Ozarks! The location is absolutely ideal - we loved being able to walk directly to beautiful walking trails and spend our afternoons fishing on Finley River. The property was spotlessly clean throughout our entire stay, and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice - it’s even better in person! One of the highlights was definitely the attention to detail - the linens were luxurious hotel-quality, making for incredibly comfortable nights after our outdoor adventures. There was so much to do both inside and outside the property that we were never bored, regardless of weather. When we had a minor issue, the host responded immediately and fixed it promptly, which really impressed us. Their communication was excellent throughout our entire stay. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of the Ozarks while enjoying top-notch accommodations. We’re already planning our return visit!

We truly loved our stay at this cabin. The setting is incredibly secluded — all you can hear are the sounds of nature, which made for a wonderfully peaceful experience. The property is very well-equipped, but one thing to keep in mind is that you’ll want to pick up groceries ahead of time. The drive can feel long, especially if you’re not familiar with country roads. It’s worth noting that the canoe shop wasn't renting canoes during our stay, understandably due to a personal situation with the family. It was not a major issue, but the current situation is something future guests might want to prepare for. The only small disappointment was the lack of body wash, which would have been a nice touch given how well-stocked everything else was. Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful, quiet, comfortable, clean & calm. Easy to locate, close to a lot of delicious food places and attractions. Great communication that was clear & positive!! The location provided quiet from everyday hustle & bustle with beautiful views off the deck. The calm of the James River was just a short walk (steps really) from the house and was just as quiet & peaceful as everything else. We will certainly keep this property on our list for when we return to the area!

My stay at the treehouse was absolutely magical. The location and surrounding area is quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. Everything was pristine and clean! I loved listening to the rain and the birds in the morning from the main deck and loved the hidden room with art supplies and books as well- so much fun! Misty was a wonderful host and very responsive and kind. I have stayed in many Airbnbs and Vrbos, and the treehouse is hands down, my favorite. What a treat, thank you for having me- I hope to return later this summer!

SUPER CLEAN! Me, my sister, mom & Aunt all had a great stay. This adorable little bungalow was the perfect place for us. Really clean home, bedding and linens, good water pressure in the shower and firm bedding-which we loved. It’s within 5 min of shopping, restaurants, and the highway too. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, also felt very safe. Front porch was great to sip coffee in the morning and the hot tub was a great finish to the day. Joey checked on us the first night to make sure we had everything we needed & to give us hot tub instructions. She was kind and responsive throughout the booking process too! Can see myself staying here for future visits.

The Barn was amazing, and was a beautiful and serene place to stay! the bed was SUPER comfy! Thank you again! We hope to be back!
