The place was lovely and clean, well presented and really well equipped. Mark was really responsive and helpful. The location was fabulous, perfect access to the beach, the pier and all the shops.

Lovely place just few steps from the water. Close to restaurants and the main street. Cozy apartment. Andrew has allowed us to check in earlier. We would gladly come back.

A lovely top floor flat right on the High Street and close to the beach. We had a glitch checking in, but this was swiftly fixed. Great location so long as you're happy to climb stairs, and don't mind a little bit of noise on a Saturday night

We had a lovely weekend at Walton on the Naze. The apartment is extremely clean, cosy and homely. The location is excellent, close to the beach and High Street.

Sea View is a comfortable flat which is in a perfect location for visiting family in the Southend area or exploring this part of Essex. The flat has a lovely view across to the River Thames estuary. The flat has two bedrooms with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom with hot shower and a comfortable lounge / dinning room. The flat is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is parking for a small car with off road free parking for something bigger. The flat is easy to access with clear instructions for the key pad and with using the heating etc. The flat is in a good location for many tourist attractions in the area and within walking distance of local shops, pubs and the shore line. Trevor is a very helpful host who provided lots of information and advice prior to our visit. He was very understanding when we reported an minor accident to a furnishing and we resolved the issue amicably. Thanks Trevor and our apologies.

The Old School Room was simply perfect! Everything we needed was provided, the apartment was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. We felt so at home and super comfortable. Upon arrival, Mike was extremely welcoming and Judith was very quick to respond to our messages. The apartment is very well located on a peaceful road overlooking the sea. All in all, an absolute gem of an Airbnb!!

We stayed two nights in this beautiful Georgian garden flat and felt very at home. Antony is super friendly and sent a detailed welcome pack ahead of time including tips for things to see and food recommendations. The kitchen was well equipped (we like to cook for ourselves) and generously provided lots of bits and bobs including milk (soya as well as regular), bread and juice. The garden front and back is very pretty and lovely to sit out in. The wifi was powerful enough to watch shows on our phones, although it was nice to read/play games and not just sit in front of a screen. Absolutely recommend staying here if you want to explore Sheppey (particularly if you want to visit Elmley reserve but stay somewhere homely and cheaper!).

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

We had a lovely time here. We've stayed in the past and booked to come back as we loved it so much. Carly messaged to tell us we could access the house 2 hours before check in which was lovely and unexpected. It was immaculately clean and exactly like the photos. We loved the upgrade to the back garden. The house is within an easy walk of the seafront/beach and the local high street.

what a great quirky place, when you enter into the kitchen/breakfast area it looks compact but upstairs feels a lot bigger. would definitely return if coming back to Southend.

We have just returned home from a week’s stay at Karen‘s house. It was a home from home with lots of space for our family of five and very clean. Karen was super helpful and responsive, she even went as far as leaving presents out for our children that they loved and food items for our stay. The house is centrally located for shopping, the seafront, park and many other local attractions. If you are thinking of staying here, we highly recommend and would book again. Thank you Karen!

Excellent place to stay with just 1 min walk to the beach. Our kids loved the place and built lots of Sand castles. The place was super clean and had all the necessary amenities. Thank you Georgia for hosting us.

kleines nettes Haus , innen sehr nett und liebevoll, mehr als der äußere Eindruck verspricht...nahe zum Strand mit Parkmöglichkeit. Den kleinen Garten konnten wir wegen dem Wetter leider nicht nutzen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber

Home was bright, airy and clean. Beautifully presented with a chic decor. Host suggested dog friendly activities and eateries in the area pre arrival and had great communication. Kitchen was modern and having milk, coffee and tea was a bonus but floor tiles were cracked in a few places. Bathroom was stunning and had some toiletries available. I didn’t feel comfortable using the shared garden with my dog as he would definitely spoil the other guests relaxation time. Also being able to see into their bedroom and lounge felt intrusive. However, we made full use of the large lounge balcony instead to soak up the sun. Unfortunately the bridge to Chalkwell Beach was closed which made the walk to that beach longer but the walk to Leigh on Sea along coastal path was very pleasant with plenty of dog friendly pubs and eateries. All in all we had an amazing time.

Cottage exactly as described cosy, comfortable and very convenient for parking, shops and wonderful walks. Johanna provided excellent and very useful information re walking routes and good eating! Perfect location for keen walkers wanting level and safe walking routes!

Had a fantastic stay. Location was perfect. House had everything we needed with loads of extras. The kids really appreciated the toys and books in particular. We’ll definitely look to stay again next time we’re visiting

Great location for us visiting family nearby. Little peace of paradise. Tucked away overlooking a beautiful garden. Carole was a great host, cottage was very welcoming. Clean, warm and cosy. We only stayed one night sadly but could have easily stayed longer. Slept so well in the comfy bed. Would definitely book again.

Had a great stay at Katy’s space. Everything was clean, comfortable and matched the description and we enjoyed the goodies Katy stocked the kitchen with to get us going! Great location - very close to everything we needed. If I was ever in Walton or Essex again would be happy to stay again. Communicating with Katy was very easy and she was happy to help with any questions!

We had a fantastic family stay at 3A Seaforth Road in Southend. The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. It was great having a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room for the kid to play and unwind. The location is ideal – close to the beach, parks, and local shops, but still peaceful and quiet at night. Parking was easy, and the host was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back for another family break and highly recommend it to other families visiting the area!

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

I am a heavy travellers . I stayed so many places before. Hotels or flats. Aniesha’s flat is like a five star hotel suite! Very modern and stylish. The building is only 1.5years old. Very clean and the location is very convenient just in front of railway station and near supermarket and shopping center. Lots of restaurants nearby. It makes me feel like home. Thank you Aniesha! Aniesha is a very nice host. I already look forward to coming back again! Wish a merry Christmas and Happy new year.

Micheal was really warm & welcoming host, with lots of humour & charm. He makes a mean cocktail in their cool little bar at the back of their lovely danish shop He gave us great recommendations for place to go and places to eat . The studio is above the shop and is very clean with everything you need , perfect for 2 people. When we return to Frinton we will definitely be trying to stay at the studio. Thank you’re hospitably

Samantha’s Penthouse apartment was exactly as described and so much more. So airy and spacious and decorated so lovely and thoughtful. Had me looking where things came from to get for my own home. Communication was perfect, also checked in with us to see everything was ok and checked in smoothly. Location was just enough out of Southend to have a good 20 min walk to the pier. Recommend the train on there as well. Toby Carvery was 2 min walk and easy food for a night out. Also the chip shop 5 mins walk was really nice too. Overall such a lovely stay and shall be returning as some point. Thank you ☺️

It was our first time in Southend. We loved the flat, it was nice and cozy and the outdoor space was a plus. Daria was very friendly and responsive, very good communication throughout. Location was central, in walking distance to the train, the pier, the beach. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. We had a great time. Thank you!
