What a peaceful weekend getaway! Lovely to get off the grid and be surrounded by nature. Close to drive to the heart of Byron Bay, but secluded from the hustle and bustle.

Very peaceful location. Suitable for resting after a day out with comfortable lounge furniture. Facilities are as described. Close to town.

We had a great, relaxing long week-end at the cottage. The description is absolutely right, it is a fantastic place to disconnect, relax and unwind. Start a fire, read a book, play games, take a walk... The farm tour was a great experience for the little one and the parents (puppies and chicks cuddles, collecting eggs, feeding horses, and a demonstration of the cattle dogs at work). There is no mains power but it was no trouble, there is a great solar + battery setup, adequate lighting, no issues with hot shower. We did well on the road with our 2wd, but careful that if you follow the road as indicated on Google Maps, if you get to a gate with a "Private property" sign, you went too far and must come back to the nearest house.

The Gardener's Cottage is such a sweet spot. Beautifully kitted out so we had all we needed for a few days away and Bangalow Main Street a short pleasant walk away. The provisions Ellen supplied were yummy & very much appreciated. Will be back 🙏

We loved our peaceful easter weekend at this beautiful property and animal sanctuary It was clean comfortable and had everything we needed, it was also wonderful being surrounded by the animals and knowing our stay supports the sanctuary . Both B and Finn were on hand and easy to communicate with if we needed anything however they had everything covered and have created a wonderful space to relax in nature, a getaway from the busy daily life We loved it , and didn’t want to leave so soon

Simply a delightful country escape. What a magical location! It was the perfect spot for our young family (and Labrador) to relax and unwind. Clean and homely. Great location. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Tooloom Homestead was one of the top experiences we had in an Airbnb. Cara is a fantastic host, she is very responsive & friendly. The location is quite remote, travelling uphill on a gravel road for about 15 minutes after reaching upper tooloom but it is worth the travel as it gives extraordinary views of the landscape and a unique experience. Definitely recommend a visit to this home.

We loved staying at Black Cockatoo! It was a great place to getaway as it was peaceful and private. Close enough to Byron to go in for a trip but not have to deal with how busy it gets. Looking forward to staying here again!

We loved our stay in this beautiful little cottage. It was the perfect stop over for our drive to Sydney. Josie was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again on our next roadtrip.

Firefly was even better than we thought it was going to be. Complete privacy, awesome accommodations and everything we needed for a peaceful getaway and Wayne & Jodie were lovely hosts. We will definitely return.

Vanessa’s farmstay is in a stunning part of northern NSW. The cabin is simple but very comfortable, and the kitchen is close by and well equipped. It’s worth noting that there is only a powder room in the cabin, the shower facility is attached to the kitchen area. Vanessa was a highly responsive, friendly and approachable host - more than happy to help with anything we needed and had some excellent local recommendations. We’ll definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived, everything about this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home.  The host was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions and helpful local tips that made our trip even more enjoyable. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. We truly felt at home and would not hesitate to book this place again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dairy at Colette and Martin’s place with our 2 dogs! It was the perfect space to “switch off” for the weekend. We enjoyed exploring the property and swimming down at the creek. Martin and Colette were great hosts and quick to respond to any questions.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great setting close to Yamba, Maclean and surrounds. Clean, tidy house and warm welcome from Louise. Our little cavoodle loved the space, even if he did bark at the horses on the odd occasion given he’d never seen one in the flesh previously. Highly recommend and will certainly be back.

Beautiful location. Kids loved the pool area right alongside the cabins. So close to Byron without the hustle and a great run up the highway to Bluesfest or the other way to Bangalow. Peacefull grounds surrounded by horses and green fields.

We booked the Bangalow Barn and Barnita for a weekend away with family. From the start of our stay we felt extremely welcome, we arrived to the fire crackling and a bottle of red. The property is stunning with the highlights being the path down to the creek, and the outdoor baths on the decking. The fenced decking was perfect for containing our two dogs and toddler. Overall a wonderful stay with a very attentive host.

Exceptional stay! I can’t say enough good things about The Dairy. What an extraordinary place. Beautiful, peaceful, serene…..we loved it. The bedrooms are comfortable, the living area open (literally the doors open all the way to the outside!) and the bathroom is truly a work of art (my daughter referred to her bath there as a “spiritual experience.” Ha!). It really is something to behold. And the location on the macadamia farm is so green and lush and quiet, despite being only a few minutes drive from the busy beaches of Lennox Head and Byron. We didn’t want to leave. And Julie was a delight to work with from start to finish: full of recommendations, easy to reach, quick to respond….a wonderful host. You won’t regret staying here. We had a great stay at the Ranch. Kids had a ball with the pool, chooks and rabbits. Unfortunately the weather wasn't awesome, but there were heaps of board games, cards etc to keep everyone engaged. The manager Chris was super, really friendly, helpful and made the stay that little bit better. Pool far better than the photos give it credit for. Lovely ionised water, and was often coupled with trips to the steam room. Really great property for a few families to have a fun time away.

A Truly Memorable Stay, Our family had an absolute fantastic time. We felt welcomed and looked after. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really made the experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure the kids were having a great time. They spent time with us each day, showing the children around the farm, introducing them to the animals, letting them help with the feeding, and even setting up an Easter Egg Hunt for our family. It was such a hands-on, authentic farm experience – the kids absolutely loved it, and so did we. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to go back. Mooey’s is a true gem – highly recommended for anyone wanting a genuine farm stay with caring hosts and a great atmosphere!

Honestly we can’t wait to book again and wish we booked to stay a week! We travelled 3 hours on the road and was worth it!! Dianne was so kind, considerate and so attentive. It felt like a relaxing home away from home! Family friendly and my 14month old had the best time exploring and was the most relaxed, all the animals were so calm, friendly and approachable, loved giving all the pats and Not to mention the actual cottage, was so beautiful and well maintained. It was honestly perfect and I can’t fault the hosts, the cottage or any part of the experience at all. So happy and we are planning our trip again already, thank you Dianne! :)

Lis’s house was extremely welcoming and felt like home. Had everything ever required in the kitchen and all of good quality. The property has great views and the pool is an excellent addition. Would love to stay there again if back in the area

We felt right at home and absolutely loved every bit of our stay, the location is just perfect, accessible , beautiful and serene, it was well equipped and so clean and so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, would love to come back and stay for longer , Robin was really helpful and wonderful. 100 percent recommended, you will love it!!!
