Need a Place to unwind and relax? Disconnect. No houses in sight of our Waldo Cabin. Walk down a shady lane to Talladega Creek where you can enjoy wading or fishing. The historic Waldo Covered Bridge is just below the cabin spanning the creek. Prospectors pan for gold in the creek. The farm is 20 acres of trees and wildflowers surrounded by the Talladega National Forest. Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in AL is just up the road. Pinhoti Trail is 2 miles away. Chief Ladiga biking trail is nearby.

Luxurious and laid back in the heart of downtown Talladega and a one block stroll from the Historic Ritz Theatre, this home is the last of it's kind on the old church side of North St E. Staying here, you feel the character and history facing the 1834 Presbyterian Church. The farm is located approximately 45 minutes from the Talladega Race Track and Anniston (home to the Cheaha Challenge bicycle race),Talladega National Forest 10 minutes, Tallapoosa River and Lake Wedowee, 281 Scenic Byway, Scenic Hwy 49 that leads to US Military Park at Horse Shoe Bend.

The Hangar House

Enjoy our unique Hangar House on our beautiful one hundred fifty acre farm with grass runways, mountain views, and a twelve acre lake. For pilots who want to fly in you will have a truck available and please contact us first prior to landing. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, live music area, ping pong, board games, gym, hot tub, two grills and an abundance of wildlife to enjoy on the farm. Only seven minutes from the Talladega Super Speedway!

Sunrise Cabin (C1) at Parksland Retreat

Private Cabin with a Wood Stove, Sink, Cook Stove, Full Bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Fall - Spring: shared Hot Tub Available Friday nights. Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center. Parking for one car only. Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. We honor each person's clothing choices.

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.

Ladiga Lullaby
