Little Red Cabin

Peaceful location in the Greene/Sullivan Forest. Within 2 miles of over 30 stripper pits for some of the best fishing in southwest Indiana. Also excellent for a nice couple's get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of the city. This cabin is located in the forest so cell service can be very poor. I do have a cell phone booster on the fireplace which helps a little bit if you stand in front of it, but be aware that cell phone service is poor. Also keep in mind that we do not have Wi-Fi available.

Covered Bridge Cabin (on Big Walnut Creek)

Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With sweet-smelling poplar walls, the cabin offers a full bed by picture window, inflatable single mattress, small TV, writer's desk, AC, fans and baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin.) Simple and beautiful.

Take the back road and come stay at The Handcrafted Hideaway. Our cabin is surrounded by woods,lakes,and wild pampas grass. We are located 1.5 mile from Red Bird Off-roading State recreation area and 5 miles from Green Sullivan State Forest. Spend your day relaxing on the front porch, fishing from one of the 2 docks on the property, or bring your off-road vehicle along and head for adventure at Red Bird! We have a fire ring in the backyard-ready for relaxing evening campfires and story telling

This luxury lakefront log home sits with a gorgeous view of a prime area of Raccoon lake, a 2000+ acre reserve in Parke County. The cabin includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths (4th bedroom is loft with a queen bed and a pull out double bed), a large family room with bar, full sized fully equipped kitchen, living room, and huge attached lakefront deck. It includes private stairs to a private dock with room for 2 boats. Wildlife is abundant and you are just minutes from Raccoon Lake State Park.

Cataract Lake Getaway - Cozy Lofted Cabin (#3)

This brand-new cabin on a private road is a serene setting perfectly blending rustic charm and modern comfort. Only a half-mile from Cataract Lake, quick and easy access to boating, fishing, kayaking, etc. awaits! Numerous nearby attractions are sure to provide great experiences (Cataract Falls, Exotic Feline Rescue Center, Terre Haute Casino, state parks, brewery/winery, local shops/eateries, etc.) And of course, simply enjoying time in and around the cabin itself is a fulfilling getaway!

Eric’s Private Off Grid Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Off grid and private This is comfortable camping but no running water or electricity. There is a private privy for your comfort There is a large pond below the cabin with private stairs and a private dock. You may fish there “ catch and release only “. No swimming or boating for liability reasons. NOTE: this is a step above tent camping. It IS in the middle of the woods, we do our best to keep it cleaned. There may be dead bugs inside.

We welcome you to come stay in our lovely cabin nestled amongst towering hardwood trees with a front porch view of the still water of our private 2 acre lake. You’ll find every need met to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guest with a well equipped kitchen with plenty of counter space, and a dining area for everyone to gather and enjoy a meal or sit together and play cards. Outside you’ll be able to enjoy late evening campfires by the water and early morning sunrises over the lake.

This home is situated on the river, offering a private setting with quick access to other amenities. It’s only 5 miles to I70, 3 miles to Indiana State University, 7 miles to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and 6 miles to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It’s also just half a mile away from The Landing. The home features a full kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. There’s also upgraded WiFi and a 58-inch Smart TV with basic cable in the living room.
