Welcome to our Peaceful Cabin in the country. Situated on 160 acres of woodland, surrounded by nature's backdoor, and a step away from Crown land with its breathtaking wilderness. Explore the West Country all year round with access to hiking/biking and horse trails. Quadding and snowmobiling in the backcountry as well as seasonal hunting and fishing. For some rest and relaxation, enjoy the deck by the flower garden, sit in front of the wood burning stove or by the firepit on those starry nights.

Cabin (Esh) at 152-Acre Nature Retreat w/Meals

Rest, reconnect, and recenter at this cozy A-Frame cabin within a 152-acre nature retreat centre featuring forest trails, a calm river, and walking access to Strubel Lake. Hot breakfasts and home-style dinners included. Enjoy wildlife viewing, nature walks, river dips, campfires, stargazing, and relaxing in the sauna or hot tub. Your cabin is private with access to the shared bathhouse, movie theatre, trails, and communal gathering spaces. Dogs welcome off-leash. Come as guests, leave as family.

Rafter 2W Guest Cabins - Cabin #1

Cozy cabin with full amenities surrounded by crown land. Bring your quads and ride directly from the property trails everywhere. Relax with the whole family and roast marshmallows by your own private firepit. This is cabin#1 of 3 cabins on the property. Pets are very welcome as each cabin is private and has lots of room to play on. Walking trails are also on the property with a lookout of the mountains. There is a $25 pet cleaning fee please add your pet to the reservation when booking.

Coal Cabin Nordegg

Coal Cabin is a BRAND NEW home located on a beautiful 1 acre parcel in North Nordegg. Boasting gorgeous, true vaulted cedar ceilings in the main living area, massive mountain facing windows, south facing deck, firepit area, sauna and much more. It features a super fun little loft that the kids will love playing in, located in one of the bedrooms. Radiant heats keeps the basement floor warm underfoot. There is a spacious rec room featuring a shuffleboard table and nice tv viewing area.

Feel rested and at peace when you stay in the rustic gem of a cabin, the Lazy Larch. This self-contained 230 sq. ft. retreat offers cozy charm. Nestled in a small field, it boasts stunning views of the trout pond and breathtaking sunsets from the expansive deck. Cross-country ski or snowshoe right from your doorstep, with 2 to 5 km of trails. This safe, family-friendly property welcomes pets, and in summer, you can even bring your horse along for a day trip to the backcountry.

Gather around the outdoor fire pit for s'mores under the stars, or warm up by the indoor wood stove on cooler evenings. Trappers Cabin on a Sleddog Farm

Spend the night in a unique setting and company. Kilyan and Anna live with nearly 30 sled dogs at the Rocky Wolf Ranch. The trapper's cabin sleeps two and is lovingly furnished. With a view of the horse paddocks and dog kennels, you can enjoy breakfast or sunbathe on the veranda. The ranch is located directly on Prairie Creek. Here you can fish, swim, or simply enjoy nature. Programs with the sled dogs are available as an option.

Nordegg Cabin with Barrel Sauna

Enjoy the panoramic views, mountain fresh air, and dark starry nights from this cozy mountain home located in the Canadian Rockies. The cabin was built as a place to slow down and reconnect. Spend your evenings next to the stone fireplace with a good book, or roast marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit with friends. The cabin offers easy access to many waterfalls, hikes, fishing, ATV trails, horseback riding, and much more.

Our resort includes a beautiful three bedroom vacation house and land that overlooks the James River. It is surrounded by trees in the Canadian wilderness. Enjoy a relaxing time in peace and quiet. Great for families. Escape the busy life while still in comfort. Bookings are based on double occupancy with a maximum of 6 people. $35/person/night for extra guests. Pets are welcome with $65/pet/stay. Now with free WIFI !
