Our only difficulty was finding our way into the property in the dark (we arrived 9ish) because we had missed their note with directions. Not their fault.

Located just outside of Bath with really quick links to local areas, Nimlet Cottage is a gem. Everything beautifully furnished and with all the amenities you could want and need, we had a great Easter break. The hot tub and private garden was great fun after long dog walks in nearby country. We visited a few of the local recommendations, all of which were great. We loved our stay and would love to return!

Beautiful place and area with rural charm and character - very therapeutic! The guest house is cosy, clean and comfortable with many items provided which made us feel welcome and at home. There is a guestbook with helpful information / instructions and recommendations for local activities. Catherine was very responsive and we felt everything was easy to understand, there were also hand written notes around the house which made it feel homely. The hot tub is lovely and tucked away in a private spot, surrounded by nature. The area is peaceful and quiet and close to The Druids Arms and Stanton Drew Stone Circle. We loved our stay and will definitely return. Many thanks to Catherine! I highly recommend.

Just beautiful. Such a peaceful setting and Kate was really helpful. Can’t fault it, even the sun shone. The roundhouse itself is a delight and was beautifully maintained and furnished. We can’t wait to come back!

Dairy cottage was compact, cute and cosy and had everything we needed. Check in was really simple and check out at 11am was fab. Dani lives next door and met us on the driveway as we pulled in. She had the hot tub ready and explained how everything worked. The bed in the main bedroom was enormous and a sooo comfy with plenty of storage. The second bunk room was very small but suited my teenage girls fine. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed including homemade bread from Dani ! Huge dinging table for breakfasts and dinners, a comfy sofa with smart tv and a log burner for the evenings. Bath was a 10 minute drive away, nearby walks for dogs and a lovely pub at the bottom of the road. All in all a great cottage in a super location and a welcoming host. I would defo recommend.

This place was great because it felt like it was away from the city, but right outside the front door, you could get a bus to Bristol in under 20 minutes. The pub down the road was within a very easy walkable distance (it was delicious too!). Carley left great instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. My friend is potentially planning on returning with her family too!

Lovely little house about a 15 mins walk away from beachfront. Nice touches put on by host with fresh breakfast items available along with all the condiments should you wish to eat in. Bed really comfortable, clean and the hot tub was used regularly. Didn't need to contact host as everything was so well explained although Joy did state we could check out later if we needed. Great place to explore and would definitely use again of in the area. Many thanks

We had a wonderful stay at Rebecca’s place. It was the perfect country getaway - such a cute cottage with a beautiful garden. The cottage had everything we needed and it was in a great location to visit Bath and do some countryside walks. Rebecca was really responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Angela was a wonderful host, was always ready to help with everything we needed. Had a great time at her place, the kids loved their interaction with the two horses. The home was so cosy and really beautiful. Loved the fireplace

It was the most beautiful cottage. Everything was explained very clearly in the booklet they left. It also had leaflets for every activity and event that you could think of! The country roads are very different to London but the views are out of this world. My teenage daughter was in her element and absolutely loved it. Wifi is provided as signal can be a little bit funny in certain areas but it was so relaxing we didnt use our phones much at all. We played the games that were left for us and also watched the hot fuzz dvd (which is filmed locally around Wells where we coincidentally explored a few hours prior to watching). We also knocked on the neighbours door and bought Eggs from their farm before we left! I'd recommend visiting Longleat Safari and if the weather is nice Bath boat station hires rowing boats per hour it was beautiful out in the sun! Thank you for the amazing stay we will definitely be back.

We spent Easter at the Cotswolds Farm Hideaway with friends this year and had the most lovely time. Kyra and William were fantastic hosts and shared all required details upfront and helped us arrange a 2nd key upon arrival. They also left really lovely welcome gifts for us upon arrival, including homemade banana bread and fresh eggs. The property is stunning and in the most beautiful setting. The inside is so stylish and comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful. The kids loved playing outside in the large garden and we went for several walks in the beautiful countryside. We also enjoy outdoor barbecues as well as inside log fires in the evening. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful place. Hanna

Lovely weekend stay with family, enclosed garden perfect for a dog. The place itself was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Great peaceful location with lots of local walk recommendations in the welcome book. Would definitely return, thanks! 🙂

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The house was very clean and spacious. Steve and Kirsty had left some milk for us which was appreciated for an immediate cup of tea and were very quickly responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend staying here!

Wonderful quirky stay! We had a lovely, comfortable few days at Easel Cottage with our 2 year old, who particularly enjoyed exploring the woods. Ellie and Andy were super friendly and helpful and it was great to visit their gallery. An ideal location for getting to lots of places of interest.

We had a wonderful time at Sarah’s lodge. It was peaceful and very clean. It is situated a short and scenic route from Cheddar where we spent most of our time hiking and eating cheese! There are many walks which you can take directly from the lodge which is lovely. Lots of local wildlife to see. Sarah was responsive, friendly and helpful which is all you need in a host. Would recommend 100% and will probably make a return visit next year as we missed out doing a few forest walks 🥾🌳

The description of a hidden gem was very apt. The house is very conveniently located; walk out the door and Wells is ready to explore. As a set of taller than average travellers it was also great that there was headroom, particularly in the loft bedroom, with only a little caution required on the stairs. I'd stay again!

stayed for a couple of months whilst renovating our home. A real home from home in the most perfect surroundings, coffee on the decking watching the ducks! Ben was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. Bens parents live next door who were very friendly, approachable and helpful. Convenience store and pub within walking distance. Overall a fantastic stay in a great location.

The cottage was absolutely immaculate. It was Incredibly well equipped with absolutely everything that you could possibly need. It was a beautiful location and so peaceful. Andrea wash a delightful host. The gusts were hilarious entertainment. We worked defiantly book again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was more spacious than expected, kids loved the field and the views are fantastic. Room was very clean and we felt very welcomed. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Emily was a great host and very responsive to any messages. Four adults stayed over the long bank holiday and had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and board games to keep everyone entertained when the weather was bad. Kitchen was very well equipped.
