Colón Island : locations de vacances en bord de mer

The jungle tree house was just what we imagined it would be and more. Peaceful, quaint and just the right size for our family of 3. Being surrounded by monkeys swinging in the trees and tropical birds signing in the distance was almost surreal. Katarina was an amazing host. Very attentive, proactive, and a pleasure to communicate with. She went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and helped us craft some unforgettable experiences while in Bocas del Toro. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Jennis Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben mitten im dschungle, sehr privat, naturnah und wie auf den Fotos. Die Hütte ist super ausgestattet und man hat alles was man braucht. Es gibt soo viele unterschiedliche Tiere die man beobachten kann. Die hütte ist für echte naturliebhaber und gibt einem von der Luftfeuchtigkeit bis hin zur wundervollen Geräuschkulisse und der authentischen regenwasser outdoor dusche ein echtes dschunglefeeling. Jenni ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer super erreichbar und so bemüht alles zu tun, dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt halt. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jedenfall für alle weiter die Lust auf ein paar Tage absolute Ruhe und Natur haben :)

Like every other review this place is incredible. We didn’t want to leave! Our tips would be - take more cash than you think you’ll need and a little more food than you think you’ll need. 😆 we ate at the restaurant one evening which was lovely and their chef is amazing but otherwise it was easy to fend for ourselves in the incredible setting. Touring the community is amazing (take your bug spray!) and the other outings were equally as memorable. We also toured the cacao farm in Dolphin Bay which was great! We were there with our twin boys who are 7 and not a moment of boredom! The house kitty was adorable and the boys named her Tinta (Valimir said she didn’t have a name yet so was happy she got one 😆) The boys are ready to go back!

Stayed here for 3 months. The location is perfect, just far enough away from the main town but still only a short walk into town. And there is a supermarket a few doors down that has anything you need. The views over the bay are stunning and well worth the stay alone. As pictured, the apartment is large has what you need for a short or long stay, and Calvin and his wife maintain the property well. Wifi was good, can drop out occasionally but thats the island infrastructure. The walls & floor aren't completely sealed/insulated so you will hear everything from your neighbours. Not a problem most of the time, but can occasionally get a neighbor playing loud music late at night. Some ear plugs might come in handy

Escogí La Caribeña entre tantas opciones porque me llamó la atención el deck , las habitaciones y el poder tener salida al mar desde este espacio. Puedo asegurar que no me equivoqué. ¡Qué lugar tan maravilloso! Es un paraíso sobre el mar. Joy y Edu hacen un gran trabajo como anfitriones, están pendientes de todas tus posibles necesidades, siempre te brindan recomendaciones, y por si fuera poco tienen un restaurante hermosísimo a una distancia caminable desde el hospedaje. Son unos anfitriones tan atentos que hasta te obsequian shots de cortesía en su restaurante Ohana, fui todos los días porque la comida era bastante adictiva. Este hospedaje lo tiene todo! Usé los kayaks que se alquilan en el hospedaje y pude recorrer los alrededores de la isla. Finalmente, una lancha me recogió en el deck gracias a la gestión de Joy, quién organizó un tour para mí. Experiencia 10/10 Volvería mil veces ☺️

We had a wonderful stay! The AC worked perfectly, and the beds were super comfortable. The location is peaceful and private, surrounded by nature—we even saw sloths nearby! It’s just a short ride to stunning and sandy Bluff Beach, and while having a bike, scooter, ATV, or car is helpful, taxis are also an option. A big bonus was Mosana, the restaurant next door, which serves delicious breakfast and dinner in a great atmosphere every day. The area is absolutely beautiful, and Helena was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

El alojamiento superó las expectativas. La vista es increíble, es mucho mejor que en las fotos. Sarah y Mandy super atentas a nuestras necesidades, respondían rápido y nos dieron todas las recomendaciones que les solicitamos. La casa super limpia y muy bien equipada con todo lo necesario para una increíble estadía.

Aaron’s place is a hidden gem tucked away into what feels like a jungle. The view from the bedroom window was very relaxing and peaceful. Aaron himself is very friendly and responsive to messages. 10/10 would stay here again. The path leading up to the house can get muddy if it’s raining out so be mindful what shoes you wear to get in and out. Shouldn’t be a problem if it’s dry out.

The apartment is a rare find in Bocas, fully equipped, AC in the living room/kitchen, it has everything you might need, very comfortable, Raúl is an excellent host, thanks for letting us stay at your place.

Wir waren in dem treehouse 12 mit einem super schönen Außenbad. Durch die offenen Wände (nur Moskitonetz) sind wir mit dem Meeresrauschen und den Dschungelgeräuschen eingeschlafen und wachgeworden. Die kleinen Häuschen sind wirklich schön in den Dschungel eingebettet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, so dass wir uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt haben. Auch die angebotenen Yogastunden am Morgen waren super - vor allem in dieser schönen Atmosphäre. Einzig der Wassergenerator eines anderen treehouses hat uns in einer Nacht ein wenig wachgehalten. Dennoch würden wir immer wieder kommen!

This place was amazing, best Airbnb we’ve stayed in 10 meters away from the beach, hosts were always responsive and very helpful it is paradise.

Super logement très cosy et mignon. Vue magnifique sur la mer depuis la chambre, piscine et au restaurant. Les hôtes sont super accueillants et proposent d’aider pour les excursions ou autre. Très gentils. Le petit déjeuner inclus est un gros plus. Le seule petit « moins » serait de pas pouvoir se baigner directement depuis le logement et devoir marcher pour trouver une chouette plage. Idem pour les restaurants, peu d’options dans les alentours. En résumé, super et on recommande

We had an incredible stay at Skully's hotel! This oceanfront oasis was a unique and special getaway, just 10 minutes outside of town. Our room was oceanfront, and it was such a treat to fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Skully and Rhonda, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They made us feel right at home, as did the locals, like Robbie, who often hung out at the lively bar. There were fun activities daily, making the place feel vibrant and full of life, a welcoming community vibe. We loved exploring the area and enjoyed some of the on-site restaurants. The BBQ place was a standout, and we also enjoyed the pizza and breakfast options. However, I wouldn’t recommend Ohana down the road the view was nice, but the food and service didn’t quite match up. For a great dining experience, try Masana, It was fantastic! Thank you to everyone at Skully’s for making our stay so memorable, you're much appreciated!

Großartige Unterkunft in toller Lage! Etwas schwierig erreichbar, wenn man mit eigenem Auto unterwegs ist. Mit dem Van mussten wir gerade auf den letzten Metern etwas vorsichtig fahren, um nicht aufzusetzen. Das wird aber mit einer großartigen Umgebung und einer tollen Unterkunft belohnt. Wir haben viele Tiere in der direkten Umgebung gesehen: Faultiere, verschiedene Affen, Kolibris, Papageien, Pfeilgiftfrösche, sogar eine Rainbow Boa(!), Lederschildkröten die am Strand ihre Eier ablegten (Anfang April), ein wildes, warmes Meer, dass mit etwas Vorsicht und etwas Kenntnis von Strömungen doch ganz gut zu handeln war in unserer Zeit - Schwimmen unmöglich, bisschen in den Wellen toben ging gut für Erwachsene, während die Kinder in den Bachmündungen spielten, tolle Ausflüge zur Isla Zapatilla und an den Starfish Beach (im April ist überall sehr wenig los), großes Glück mit dem Wetter. Wenn wir wieder nach Panama gehen, werden wir wieder hierher zurück kommen. Danke!

Joanna’s place is fantastic and the whole experience is made even better by her warm welcome and generosity. She kindly provided us with breakfast provisions and was extremely helpful throughout even allowing us a late checkout before our afternoon flight. The garden and pool areas are very tranquil and it is just a short walk to 3 great places to eat and drink. We would highly recommend a stay here and hopefully will be back ourselves in the future.

A dream come true. The whole staff is welcoming and invites you into their home. They make you feel safe and the room is impeccable. The water is amazing and you could see the fish through the floor. Our dock was boss….. They Intentionally stocked fridges with all kinds of drinks and the breakfast was delicious. Storing our bags and using the coming space when our flight was delayed came in clutch. The location is pretty ideal with both transplants and local community living together so you can see the neighborhood they are intentionally creating. They are amazing we will never forget them and are coming back. Oh and they beautifully did our laundry, folded everything, even dropped it at our door like what gems. They helped us in a tricky situation as a tourist and came up with creative solution. They go above and beyond as host and will recommending 1000 por cento!!!

Britta and Alex place is a little gem in the jungle. Yet, just a few meters to a very nice beach. Bluff beach is not really swimmable but extremely beautiful to walk. The trail behind the beach is you plenty of chance to spot wild life. We saw sloths (with baby) hauler monkeys and beautiful birds. Tukans and others are resident on the island. And not to forget the red frogs everywhere. The accommodations are very nice. Clean and everything you may need. The hosts are very responsive and will accommodate with anything if possible. Gracious hosts that make you feel at home. Place is very private. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!! Nice restaurants within walking distance. Take the guided frog tour while there, very interesting. Nice place to be away from hectic life. Will come again.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage und die Unterkunft an sich waren wirklich top. Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und können die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Helena is such a lovely, warm- hearted person. She took time to make sure, we know everything in the house, including what to do if there is a power cut. Keep in mind, it's a bio house, so everything is run by the solar panels outside. There is a small store in Bastimentos Town, but it's better if you do the shopping in Colon Town. We really enjoyed being surrounded by the nature, listening to the rain.. We can recommend Helena and her house 100% and we will for sure be back.

We had such a great stay at Marketa & Ryan’s cabin. From the moment they picked us up, we felt genuinely welcomed. Definitely take them up on that offer—it’s a beautiful drive and a great way to settle in. The cabin is beautiful surrounded by jungle but just a short walk from the beach, bars, and restaurants. On our last day, a family of monkeys visited and played in the trees next to us—such a magical moment! Tip: stock up on breakfast supplies, snacks, and drinks in town (no need to bring water—they’ve got a big dispenser for guests). There aren’t any shops nearby, but the local restaurants are great. The area has so much to offer—surfing, snorkeling, biking, ATV tours, dolphin watching… You won’t be short of adventures. We spent our days exploring and loved returning to the cabin each evening. It’s super comfy, with a cozy bed, hot shower, soft towels, and a perfect jungle breeze (plus a fan) that kept us cool at night. They have created something really special here—we loved it!
