We had a great stay in Maryland, made all the better by Kurt and Marilyn's great hosting. Their basement apartment has everything you'd need for a beautiful and relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen felt new and well thought out and overall the appartment was spacious yet homely. From the moment you get out of the car you know that they've put a lot of thought into this airbnb and worked to make it feel like a home. One of our favourite bits was the daffodil lined path, past the trees to the door. Every time we went in and out, seeing rabbits and squirrels on our way past and hearing the birds up above was so relaxing. Finally we would add that having hosts on-site means was an added bonus as any issues are quickly responded to and well managed. Plus they had great recommendations for where to go and what to see, was lovely to meet them. Would definitely stay there again if we're back in the area.

This was my fourth stay with Theo and every time, it seems like he includes something to make the stay more enjoyable. Very responsive to any questions or issues that arise. Always flexible! I love it there and it is definitely my home away from home! I look forward to my next stay!

Holly’s place was perfect for my long term stay. She was an excellent host, very responsive and thought of the small details. Location is superb! Great restaurants nearby and beautiful water view.

Mary’s place, Heron’s Cove, exceeded our expectations. The home is filled with quality, comfortable furniture and has a nice homey feel to it. The home is outfitted with all we needed for a pleasant stay. Every kitchen appliance imaginable is provided as well as all we needed in toiletries, extra towels, blankets, etc. The setting is very peaceful and quiet with great views through a mature forest of the Patuxent River. Our family loved it. Mary’s communications with us were regular, making sure we had all we needed. The whole trip was very relaxing…we highly recommend her place and look forward to returning. Sandy Feet Retreat in Colonial Beach was a great place to take my daughter and the grandkids for a 3 day Spring Break holiday. The condo was beautifully furnished and very well located on the boardwalk. My family loved having access to the beach right outside the condo and spent many hours collecting shells and sea glass. Fishing from the pier was a thrill for my grandson. I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the balcony and evening time there listening to the waves each day. Thank you Brittany for everything you do to assure a lovely stay for your guests.

This basement apartment was extremely, extremely clean and has everything you might need for a perfectly comfortable stay. we had our preschooler and our dog, and the host family has a nice fenced in back yard and a community park right across the street. we were traveling up I-95 and this was such a relief after bad, dirty expensive rooms in hotel chains.

Host was amazing! Very responsive to texts. Great to work with. Place was super clean and cozy. Plenty of room for my family of 4. I’d rate this stay 10-10!! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks you for your wonderful hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay at the crab cottage. The golf cart was a definite highlight to cruise around the town. We enjoyed eating out at the local places- definitely good food at lennys and willeys! The children enjoyed the back yard n we loved sitting on the screened porch. Thanx 4 a wonderful stay!

I don’t know if I can express how much I loved our stay at Rich and Yumi’s place. The property is very beautiful, private and very peaceful. We enjoyed fishing and taking in all of the sights and sounds of nature surrounding us. The fire pit area and hot tub were very nice additions to the property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The house was very well stocked. Rich and Yumi pay great attention to detail. We were greeted by a nice welcome basket and card to welcome us. After departing we realized that my daughter had forgotten a few items. Rich was very responsive and helpful in locating the items and arranging to ship them to us. I absolutely fell in love with this place and definitely plan to return in the future. Thank you very much Rich and Yumi for sharing your amazing property with us!

Very nice house. Mattox Creek is just a few steps away from the back door, with a very nice dock to sit out and enjoy the water view. I enjoyed grilling dinner one night while being able to look out over the water. The kitchen is well stocked. Very quiet neighborhood. Only 10 minutes from Colonial Beach. Mari is a great host!

A group of 7 women, ages 31 to 83 stayed in Adam's place. It was PERFECT for our needs. The house was beautiful and smelled new. We enjoyed playing games at the huge dining table. The bathrooms were GORGEOUS!! We would definitely stay there again.

Erin's place is in a beautiful location; we loved just looking out the windows down to the creek drifting by below! There was plenty of room for our entire family to hang out together and to spread out and do our own things. The dock was in great shape, and we enjoyed using the two kayaks and the fishing rods. Erin was very responsive and provided great information about the area!

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this was easily one of the best. Everything was exactly as described, and maybe even better than described. It had tons of amenities and a well stocked kitchen perfect for our large family. Spotless and beautiful. I highly recommend this home and would gladly stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house over looking the bay! The views all around the property were absolutely stunning, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I was on a work trip with several coworkers, and the house was incredibly comfortable and spacious —it truly felt like home. The space was clean, safe, and well-maintained, making it the perfect retreat after long workdays. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare a large family meal, which was a huge plus. Most importantly, our host was amazing—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming getaway. Thank you, for such a great experience!

We had the pleasure of staying here during the winter while we looked for a place to live. It was perfect! Quiet and peaceful yet super close to all restaurants and stores. We had some snowfall and the views were stunning! Once it warmed up we even got to see some wild life in the woods behind us. Lovely huge porch! Lots of space in garden escape. Can bring the entire family and more!!! Nice big driveway for easy turned around. Patrick was beyond responsive for all my questions.Whether is was just informing be as something as simple as an Internet outage in the area or we had one situation with an unsure smell. Patrick acted immediately on the problem and it was resolved within 2 hours from start to finish. Cannot recommend this place enough!
