We’re also a short drive to a variety of game lands or Pettigrew State Park with hiking, biking, canoeing and kayaking access. With every sunset comes an opportunity to reset, and at our little haven, you can end your day with the very best!

This gorgeous and quaint cottage sits on Muddy Creek where Perquimans River and the Albemarle Sound meet. It offers unparalleled views of magnificent dusk and dawn skies over water as you are surrounded by a variety of wildlife. Inside, the cottage has an open concept with one large room and a separate full bathroom. Walls of windows offer panoramic water views that embrace you the moment you walk through the front door. An ideal getaway retreat for couples, or a family with small children.

Moore Time

"Moore Time" for all the things you love, forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Located at the end of a quite dead-end road, only three miles from the town of Columbia and about thirty minutes away from Manteo and the Outer Banks beaches. This home is in the country and is the perfect spot for families, friends trips, hunters, fishermen, or just YOU if you need "Moore Time" for yourself. This home was completely renovated in 2024 with a lot of extras!

Nature Lovers Dream!! Ideal for Fisherman, Kayakers , Canoers, Hikers, and Birdwatchers. Scuppernong River Nature Center just blocks away. Endangered Red Wolf Coalition, Alligator River Wildlife Preserve within 1/2 hour. Dock on premises as well as free parking for trailers. 45 minutes from the Outer Banks for a great home base for vacationers. Redfish, Stripers, Blue Catfish, Bluegills, and Blue Crabs can be caught off the dock. No children under 8 please.

WaterWinds Waterfront pvt house/dock, 4 kayaks

Water Winds has Beautiful views of Albemarle Sound. Enjoy birding with Bald head eagles and Osprey, often seen in the cypress trees outside the great room. Paddling in the kayaks and exploring the sound are great ways to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Bicycles and yoga mats are all available to relax and enjoy some down time here. Smart TV, hi speed wireless internet along with a fun size pool table, foosball, dartboard and ping pong downstairs.

Betty’s Bungalow

Betty’s Bungalow Is located 4 miles south of Columbia on Levels Road. You can enjoy walking around the farm, the quiet Levels community, or along the boardwalk in the picturesque town of Columbia. There is ample parking for boats and horse trailers. Pasture board is available for the equestrian enthusiasts for a nominal fee. When out and about, be sure to visit the Columbia Museum and the visitor center and learn about the history of Columbia.
