The house was great! Great locations in a nice neighborhood! We would have spent more time outside but the weather didn’t allow much of that. The roads weren’t great on check out day and Jennifer was very responsive and let us check out a little bit later. Kids loved the movie room! Snacks were provided. A great experience all around with the house and Jennifer! They will be added to our list for future rapid city visits! I would definitely suggest this house ! Thanks again!!

Not only was our host, Chadwick, kind and communicative, the Airbnb itself was exactly as described. The setting was peaceful and secluded, yet just a short drive from restaurants and shopping. The layout of the house was perfect for the two of us, but could easily accommodate a small family, with its two bedrooms and large family room. Our favorite thing about Rushmore Cottage was the patio on the back of the house that looked out over a forest of trees and the mountains behind. Mount Rushmore can even be seen with a good pair of binoculars.

We had a great stay! Amanda always responds quickly and even allowed my family who were arriving much earlier than us to have access a couple of hours before check in time. The house is cozy and in a quiet neighborhood close to pretty much everything. We would definitely stay there again especially when the pool is available to swim in.

Sheila responded to our booking request in minutes and had the place ready in less than hour after our original booking at another place didn’t work out. The place was clean and very nicely decorated. She put up a Christmas tree for us and we celebrated a wonderful family Christmas. Great location with friendly neighbors. Sheila is friendly, responsive and professional. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We absolutely loved the deck off the back and enjoyed sitting out there having coffee in the morning, and oftentimes lunch or dinner there as well. At dusk, when we were sitting outside, we could hear the owl(s) hoot as well as deer in the underbrush. One evening we sat and watched a thunderstorm moving across the plains. The kitchen was very well stocked, which was appreciated, as we often cooked meals in. This location made a great home base for all the things we did in the Black Hills and we would love staying here again!

Nice person at check in and very helpful for giving information of the best way to get to various attractions. One of our vehicles blew a fuse and we didn't have the right tool to get into the fuse box. Maintenance man came right away and helped us. Cabin was freshly painted and some improvements made.

If you're planning a trip to the Black Hills area, this Airbnb is perfect. It's a beautiful new home in a quiet neighborhood and its location made it easy to see a lot in the area. From the house, we visited Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Black Hills National Forest, Wind Cave, the Badlands, and the Mammoth Fossil Site. The house was well set up, and our kids had a blast in the basement—basketball and golf were the favorite games of the week. Very kid-friendly. The house had all the essentials. The hot tub was relaxing to sit in after a long day. There was always a timely response to our questions from the host. I would definitely stay in this Airbnb the next time I'm in the area and would recommend to families with kids

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect little home that has all the accommodations and not far from many attractions. Kelly was kind enough to give recommendations and answer any questions. Definitely would recommend staying here!
