Located on the vehicle-friendly side of the footbridge, the Jumbo cabin grounds your time in the wild surroundings. We welcome you to stay with us. Explore the natural wonders of the mountains and glaciers, raft the rivers that surround us, satisfy your curiosity by learning about early 1900s mining history in nearby Kennecott, and engage with our vibrant summer community.

The SuperCub Cabin at the McCarthy Airstrip

Check out this new serene retreat at the edge of the wilderness. Just a 6 minute walk from the main airstrip ramp, this secluded guesthouse shares a 5 acre lot with The Cub Cabin. No other neighbors in view. New firm queen bed upstairs and full futon downstairs. Spacious for 2, hosts up to 4. Private hot shower/change room and clean private outhouse. The kitchenette includes a hot faucet, mini fridge and gas heater. Basic WIFI and 2 courtesy bikes included. Pets very welcome.

Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge-Main House, with sauna

Take in 360 degree views from the deck, relax in the sauna on the banks of the creek, or enjoy a crackling fire in the gorgeous great room filled with unique log furniture. The kitchen was made for entertaining with a 6 burner gas stove and huge log table that easily fits 8. Hike, fish, ski, paddle or soak right outside your door. It is located 30 min. from Tok on a paved road, and is on your way from Anchorage. This includes only the main house. Cabins are in a separate listing.

Located on our family homestead circa 1963, this is Grammie's home with some mobility aids available. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. We are happy to share it with you.

Experience the beauty of Alaska as our Grandparents did when they first homestead here in the 60s. Pappy Cal and Grandma Mary came north and built their homestead on this very land while mining, raising kids, running a general store, cabins, and a campground. We hope to continue their legacy of hard work and hospitality!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Very cozy one room cabin with a queen size bed. Located in GlacierView Alaska. Beautiful view of the Matanuska Glacier, hiking trails, access to the river. This is a dry cabin . You have your own private, charming outhouse! We provide the finest spring drinking water., coffee and tea. The cabin has a microwave and small refridgerator.
