Above All Cottage on Quadra Island

Above All is a studio cottage with a verandah overlooking an acreage. It features stained glass windows, plank floors, a well equipped kitchenette and private bath with restored claw foot tub (no shower). Internet on the island is often spotty, but most guests find the cottage wifi satisfactory. The cottage is located within walking distance to the ferry, shops at Quathiaski Cove and island trails. The owners live on site in a separate residence and have a small friendly mixed breed dog.

This snug, hand-built cottage features large windows and a deck looking toward Hague Lake and the rocky scapes of Turtle Island. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

'Saltwater' is a sparkling new cedar and glass cottage by the sea. Nestled into a beautiful farm and orchard on the south side of Cortes Island, 'Saltwater' lends a deeply restorative experience of the pastoral life along with all the pleasures of the the ocean! The cottage has breathtaking views of Desolation Sound and the Coast Range mountains as well as the mountains of Vancouver Island. The orchard and forest creates a beautiful backdrop and a wonderful place to explore.

Welcome to The Sea Grass Studio Suite. Guests are a 10 min walk to downtown Campbell River where you will find many quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants to enjoy. The Quadra ferry is a short walk away and is a great chance to explore a beautiful part of the Discovery Islands. Escape to the Cozy Lakefront Cabin Retreat at Hague Lake, ideally situated on the south end of Cortes Island. The cabin offers a queen-sized bed with fresh linens, a fully equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, mini-fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, and coffees and teas, plus a newly renovated bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Just minutes from Mansons Landing’s co-op, café, and market, and near trails, beaches, and lagoons, it’s the perfect base for comfort and adventure.

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
