Explore Valencia from a Central Apartment
My home is located on the 3rd floor of a fully restored historical building -in an area where most buildings are mainly over 100 years old-, which for your convenience and comfort, has an elevator. There are no other neighbours on the same floor. It features a spacious living room with dining and kitchen area with two large street-facing balconies, one bedroom with another small balcony, and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. Two street facing balconies and one window fill the living room and kitchen area with plenty of natural daylight. The comfortable sofa is the ideal place to lounge after a long day out sightseeing. A gracious table in the living room seats 4. In the fully equipped kitchen area you’ll find everything you might need to prepare a quick meal: Nespresso coffee machine, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, vitroceramic hob, fridge/freezer, and of course enough kitchenware and tableware. I also provide some basic kitchen condiments such as oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, pepper and some others, and detergent for washing crockery and doing laundry, to avoid you the hassle and cost of this basic shopping. In the bedroom there is a comfy double bed (135x190) to ensure a good night's rest, and a closet with enough room for your clothes. The bathroom, adjacent to the bedroom, features a bathtub with shower and a washing machine. The boiler is of 50 litres so if you have a long shower, hot waters runs and you have to wait 10min to have again hot water. I provide complimentary bath amenities such as hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. Clean, fresh bed linen and towels are also provided. The WiFi high-Speed Internet connection will make it possible for you to stay connected or get some work done, should you need to. The apartment has also an integrated air conditioning / heating system, to ensure the maximum comfort. If you need a baby cot for your baby, just ask! For a small supplement I might arrange one for you! The cleaning fee refers to the cleaning of the apartment after departure. No cleaning service is offered during the stay. Please ask if you are missing something and I will be delighted to assist with whatever I can. You will have access to the entire home. I’ll try my best to be there, but sometimes it is just not possible due to my job. In these cases, a family friend will welcome you upon arrival and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Once you complete the reservation, I will also send you a document with some information regarding the apartment, personal insider tips on what to do and visit, and some local restaurant and bars recommendations, to help you make the best out of your stay in Valencia. Also, you will be provided with a map of Valencia upon arrival and will remain reachable by phone or Airbnb e-mail 24/7 during your stay, should you need any help or advice! The home is located in the “El Pilar” neighborhood, a charming and historic area in the Old Town of Valencia. From here, walk to emblematic places like the Town Hall square, Valencia Cathedral, and a selection of independent restaurants and shops. Mercado Central / Valencia Central Market – 250 m. / 3 min. Torres de Quart – 350 m. / 4 min. La Lonja de la Seda / The Silk Exchange (UNESCO World Heritage site) – 500 m. / 6 min. Parroquia San Pedro Mártir y San Nicolás / Church of San Nicolás (the so called “Valencian Sistine Chapel”) – 600 m. / 7 min. Catedral / Valencia Cathedral – 800 m. / 9 min. City of Arts and Sciences -3.5 km. / 30 min. by bus The beach (Las Arenas, La Malvarrosa) – 30-40 min. by Metro + tram / or by bus. Transportation The Metro station "Àngel Guimerà" – 650 m / 8 min. from the doorstep - is the city's best public transport connection hub to/from Valencia Airport (18 min. travel time / 10 stops, Lines 3 or 5) / train stations (“Estació del Nord” train station, 1 min. / 1 stop; “Estació Joaquín Sorolla” AVE high-speed train station, 3 min. / 2 stops) / beaches (20 min. travel time / 7 stops with Lines 5 or 7 to Marítim-Serrería + 3 stops with tram Line 8). Metro runs from 5.27 until 23.30 at night. This is the fastest & most frequent transportation service, running every 6-9 min throughout day, 7 days. All major bus routes are also available either from Àngel Guimerà or Gran Vía de Fernando El Católico. For example, to go to the beach, you can take Bus Nr. 2 at Gran Vía de Fernando El Católico and would take you less than 30 min. to go to the Las Arenas Beach area.

The house, in a completely renovated building, consists of a bedroom with double bed 140 x 2m, bathroom, living room very bright with sofa bed 140 and fully equipped kitchen. It has two balconies with large windows to the main facade, where thanks to the climate of Valencia allows you to have breakfast, eat and dine outdoors for much of the year. Do not worry about anything, you will find everything you need: clean sheets and towels, hair dryer, soap, kitchen utensils, dishwasher, coffee, tea ... so you can relax and enjoy your visit in a cozy and quiet apartment located in the street of the baskets of the historical center of the city. It is a pedestrian street with a lot of charm, with traditional handmade shops of basketry and wood, very lively by the day, but at the same time very quiet and silent at night, without cars or bars. In addition, thanks to the unbeatable location in the old town, between the Central Market (1min), Silk Exchange (1min) and the Town Hall Square (1min), allows you to walk to the main attractions of the city in less than 5 min. Cathedral, Plaza la Reina, Plaza de la Virgen. Also the High Speed train station and the Metro with direct connection with the airport, are to 5 minutes. The building has an elevator. The kitchen is equipped with: fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, juicer. Private parking space is available on request. The apartment is set in Old Town, a quiet and charming neighborhood steps away from the Central Market, the Silk Exchange, and the main highlights. Many characteristic restaurants and shops dot the area, where you can taste our Mediterranean gastronomy and culture. You can walk to all the landmarks of the city in less than 5 minutes. The Malvarrosa beach is 15 minutes away, with the Metro from Xátiva and Colon station (5min) and transshipment on the Tram. If you wish to visit the City of Arts and Sciences you can take the Bus (15min). In addition, there is a bike rental less than 1 minute away, to explore the city or to reach the Jardines del Real or the Turia River Garden, the "Central Parc" of València in 5 minutes. The old River Turia's garden is a green belt that connects the whole city, where you can spend the day strolling under the shade of the trees while touring and visiting different monuments until you reach the City of Arts and Sciences. It is very easy to get to the apartment since the Xàtiva metro stop with direct connection to the airport and the train station are 5 min. I will be happy to receive you at any time of the day. We do not impose restrictions on your arrival. Private parking place under the building with an extra charge of 12€ night. Availability of cot and high chair for an extra charge of 30€.

El apartamento es realmente especial por su localización y porque el buen gusto está presente en todos los rincones. Como está en una calle peatonal es bastante tranquilo pese a estar en el centro. El gran espejo de la zona de estar proyecta la imagen de parte de la Plaza del Ayuntamiento en su interior y aporta gran luminosidad. Es el sitio perfecto para disfrutar de Valencia sin renunciar a la tranquilidad El apartamento tiene ascensor, y un pequeño balconcito con una mesa y dos sillas. El huésped puede preguntarnos por cualquier servicio como niñera, limpieza, cocinero en casa...y le informaremos gustosamente sobre cualquier servicio disponible en la ciudad, incluyendo todo tipo de actividades deportivas (tenís, golf, surf...) El apartamento tiene wifi, aire acondicionado, microndas con grill, lavadora, lavavajillas. Cama de 160. Tv led pantalla plana de 42' Recibimos personalmente a nuestros huéspedes, nos encanta darles la bienvenida e informarles con detalle sobre nuestro partamento y sobre la ciudad. Estamos a su disposición en el móvil siempre que nos necesiten ante cuaquier problema que pueda surgirles en relación con el piso durante su estancia. Rodeado de teatros, grandes almacenes y los principales monumentos del centro de la capital valenciana, este apartamento recién reformado ofrece una conveniente ubicación para desplazarse a pie a los principales puntos de interés. El apartamento está perfectamente conectado con cualquier otra parte de la ciudad. A la puerta se coge el autobús número 19 que nos lleva directamente, sin necesidad de cambiar a otro, directamente a la playa y a la ciudad de las artes y las ciencias. A 250 metros hay dos paradas de metro, una es COLÓN y la otra XÁTIVA. Incluso la Estación del Norte, precisosa por cierto, está a escasos 300 metros. Alquiler de bicicletas en la zona. Parking con tarifas económicas y con tarifa 24 horas (se puede sacar y meter libremente el coche) a 15 euros. Tenemos otro piso publicado en air bnb en la misma planta y edificio, son los dos únicos pisos en la planta, también con cuatro plazas disponibles, de manera que entre los dos sumarían 8 plazas. Ideal para dos parejas, o dos familias con algún niño pequeño...
