We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It was a good location for excursions & lots to do on the property. We had 4 adults staying at the house (any more would've felt a little too tight in my opinion). I was looking for a place with river access and accessibility to town, while prioritizing sustainability. Hadas is well liked & respected by the locals. The roads are well maintained & easy to navigate. We had our own car but the tour company, Explore Inland, picked us up for the Barton Creek and ATM tour from the property, which was nice & convenient. We ate at Carms which was close & delicious one night and ventured into town for other meals (15 min drive). We enjoyed having coffee & watching the bird feeder every morning. We saw a toucan several times on the property & enjoyed a digital detox away from TVs and screens, while still having AC in the bedroom and internet. We ended our stay with a massage on the porch by Dora which was the best one I have ever had!

Shallow Bay was beautiful, so cute, and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The covered deck is very large and we loved having coffee in the morning and nightcap in evening out there. It is super quiet and peaceful along with well landscaped and maintained lot. Jeannette the local contact person is extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and tours. I would definitely come back and recommend staying here.

Although our stay was very brief, we could not recommend this place enough!! Fernando and Rebecca were always available and even helped us carry luggage inside. They were very accommodating and friendly and we couldn't have asked for more! the home is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The beach is right out the front door with plenty of seating options and a private pier. we did not get to utilize the kayaks or bikes but definitely will boom a longer trip next time. This home is a 1minute walk from the more tourist side of Hopkins, including more "resort style" restaurants. Food at the Barracuda next door was incredible. Trues local Hopkins is just a 20minute walk away with great store and vendor options! Can't wait until we can visit again.

We stayed in Peter's Sanpopo cottage. it was beautiful, clean, stocked with everything you would need to do your own cooking, amazing wrap around deck where you could hang with the birds and iguanas. it felt like properly hanging in the jungle. Peter, Jenny and family were so helpful, had great recommendations and were quick to respond to any questions.

Beautiful location and accomodations. Looks just like the pictures. Tracy was very available and helpful with any questions. He showed my daughter how to husk a coconut and get to the "milk". Easy ride into the village (we rented a car from the airport). Minutes from both Sittee River marinas. 45 minutes or so to Bocawina. Nice having a kayak available when not too windy. Caught a fish off the pier.

We had a fantastic stay! We were the only ones renting at the time, making it quite lovely to have the place ourselves. Emily is a fantastic cook, so I recommend planning at least a few meals through the host. If you do your own food, plan your meals (the host can take you shopping before leaving) because it costs for the boat ride to get more supplies. Belle and Bruno were the best four-legged hosts, so if you love large dogs, you will enjoy them as we did. They swim out to play with the dolphins pretty much daily! Eugene has a wealth of knowledge about what to do and see; he is your best resource. The young lad Omar helped with everything, including showing me how to fish.

I am very happy with my stay at this private, secluded cabin. Jordan and Ann were great hosts. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Belize City. If i had any questions or concerns I was always able to contact Jordan for a quick response. The location was perfectly nestled in city center for a nice walk to local spots. I felt very safe the entire time. If you want true Belize (before heading to the Cayes) go here and have a tour of the Mayan ruins and Belize City. There is a lot of beautiful, diverse culture and history. Don't forget to book a pedicure! The massage was really nice after a long day of walking and touring. Thank you for the home away from home! See you soon.

If you are looking for a spacious, clean, beautiful home near San Ignacio, look no further! We were amazed by the view and the breeze the minute we walked in the door and were greeted by Consuelo. We enjoyed drinking coffee with the toucans (and other tropical birds) on the back porch each morning and swimming in the pool after a day of adventure. Our family of 5 had more than enough room to spread out and relax during our time in Belize. We spent a week at Katia’s house and explored ATM cave, Big Rock falls, Rio on Pools, Cahal Pech, Tikal, San Ignacio Saturday market, and zip lining at Calico Jacks. Consuelo made 2 delicious meals for us after a full day of exploring and taught our girls to make tortillas. I wouldn’t change anything about our trip and especially wouldn’t change where we stayed. You will not be disappointed!

This place is magical. Surrounded in the jungle. Sure it’s not “in town” but that’s also the appeal! Still super close to get into town and everything close by. Having the rental car option right from their location was amazing. We rented for one day to take advantage of all the breathtaking wonders around (big rock falls and rio on pools). So much to see on site as well- nice walk through the coconut orchard was lovely. Rose and help made the most delicious meals. We really enjoyed the screened in porches with hammocks and would just swing and lounge the day away listening to the noises outside.
