While situated in an idyllic rural location it's also within easy access to many key attractions: Shannon Airport 40km, Cliffs of Moher 45km, Galway City 55km. A car is essential as there is no public transport.

Ideal for coastal walk to The Cliffs, ferry to Aran Islands, Doolin with it's mix of traditional music pubs & fine dining like Homestead Cottage ⭐️ Michelin. The Burren National Park is 30 min away.

It is located a stones throw from the lovely old fishing village of ballyvaughan, that was once the heart of Clare and is now part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Spend a day in the sun on one of many beaches nearby or visit the stunning Burren and its fabulous attractions, such as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, Doolin Cave, Caherconnell Fort and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. The Old Brewery

Ideal for walkers, Glennagalliagh (Valley of the Hags) is situated on the East Clare Way. The sheltered valley is nestled in the foothills of the Slieve Bernagh Mountains with Clare's highest peak; Moylussa (532m) standing behind. The apartment is a converted brewery with views towards the Ardclooney River and the hills above. 4 miles from the picturesque riverside town of Killaloe/Ballina and pubs, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, markets, fishing and watersports/beaches of Lough Derg.

Darby's rest 1 bedroom apartment. Doolin Co. Clare

This is a self contained apartment, tastefully decorated, on the ground floor, with your own private entrance. There is a double bed, kitchen, dining and living room, and bathroom. With your own private patio with panoramic views. The apartment is newly renovated to the highest standard, with gas heating and a solid fuel stove. It was just finished in March 2022, and we are very happy with how it turned out. We have put together a guest food hamper which we hope you will enjoy.

Roughly 5 minute drive from the heart of Doolin it is ideally located to experience the west coast of Ireland.
