Relax around the campfire after a day of fishing, hiking and exploring historical sites. There is no better place to watch the sunset and star gaze when night falls. This is for true nature lovers. The basic facilities and lack of electricity foster togetherness and bring out that real outdoors feeling.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. In the "Hearth" of everywhere but in the middle of nowhere. Iris Cottage is just an hour from Dublin and 15 mins from kells with holistic treatments available such as reflexology, massages or even try a seaweed bath to help you unwind. If its sightseeing then we have Loughcrew Cairns and Fore abbey on our doorstep. But if its fishing your interested in then check out Lough Lene and Lough Bane, or one of the many other lakes around us.
