The Greenhouse Cottage

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Waterfront Cottage on Toddy Pond, Orland, Me.

COTTAGE IS RENTED ON A WEEKLY BASIS- GUESTS MAY ARRIVE AT 300PM ON SUNDAY AND DEPART BY 10 am ON SATURDAY. (6 NIGHTS) Recently restored cottage, 15-feet from the water, on 8-mile long Toddy Pond. Water-front cottage contains a master bedroom, a full bath, kitchen, living room, and dining area. Newly renovated detached bunk house has one full-size bed. New lighting and skylights allow plenty of sunlight to brighten the interior of the bunk house and cottage. 1 dog ,20 lbs. or less is allowed.

The Loft at Loon Sound is nestled among tall pines and offers a serene waterfront getaway, with a private patio and outdoor gas firepit. Enjoy your vacation in a newly renovated, expansive space, enveloped in the charming warmth of a completely pine interior, with water views out every window. The path that extends from the patio leads to a dock, which is a perfect spot to watch the stars at night or listen to the loons. The loft is located on second floor of our barn. Guests must do stairs.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
