The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Located across the street from the Moyie Sternwheeler National Historic Site and the Kaslo Visitor Center, there is a great public beach perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. The house is located a couple blocks from the Angry Hen Brewery and all the other great shops and restaurants in town. Good parking in back with room for a camper if needed. Come relax and recreate in the beautiful town of Kaslo!

Longbeach Suites 2 Bdr. On the lake.

Longbeach suites, located on the west arm of Kootenay Lake 21 kms north of Nelson BC providing 171 ft. of beach front. We have two separate suites available on the upper level of our home overlooking the beach. The suites are accessed from the parking area by one of two stair cases or an enclosed wheel chair lift to the upper deck. A new saltwater system hot tub has just been installed for your pleasure
