For those guests traveling with friends we offer a second unit in the same house. Perfect for couples wanting privacy but to share space for visiting.

Down Home Southern Charmer

This is the home that my sister and I grew up in with our parents and younger brother, who have passed on. We love our home, and are now opening it up to guests from anywhere in the world who want a comfortable place to stay while visiting the Mississippi Delta. Available to our guests are a centrally heated and cooled home with two bedrooms, a living/dining room, a family room with TV and Internet, two bathrooms, a kitchen, washer and dryer, and a garage. And, we just put in new floors!

Horse Farm Hideaway

Industrial farmhouse style meets southern charm on an idyllic horse boarding family farm safely outside of Memphis. Perfect location both for sightseeing in Memphis or bypassing the city entirely. Take a walk among the horses to decompress. Full kitchen and a large bathroom. No exterior windows. Guests sleep well in our quiet and private space. Due to safety concerns, no children under 12. Locals or those without prior positive reviews will be rejected. Our property is smoke free.

Whispering Oak Secret Hideaway

Whispering Oak was lovingly built in 1908 by the Mothershed family. It is adorned by a massive Oak tree that holds a swing. We have divided the house into two private apartments. Secret Hideaway is on the right. There are 3 spacious rooms. Living/dining with adjoining kitchenette, large bedroom with closet with en-suite luxurious bathroom with walk in shower. There a lovely front porch with swing that provides amazing sunset views and a beautiful backyard with large covered portico.

Livie’s Loft

This unique place has a style all its own. Stay in a stylish newly renovated Main Street Loft in Sardis, MS. Walk to restaurants and a short drive to I-55. Only a few minutes away from the beautiful Sardis Lake. Close to Oxford. Open concept loft with 2 king beds and memory foam mattresses. Relax on the leather sofa and enjoy watching the smart tv. Enjoy a home cooked meal in the full kitchen and custom kitchen table. Private bathroom with custom barn doors has large tile shower.

Harbert House was built in 1912 and has historic charm.

Country get-away! Only 35 Minutes from Downtown Memphis, TN, yet out in the country on a 62 acre estate. Nature trails through the property allow beautiful, peaceful strolls. There is fishing(in season). A very peaceful place to unplug and take in all that Mother Nature has to offer. We do have Wi-Fi but can be a bit spotty during cloudy weather.
