This spacious attic suite features a stunning window seat, wood fireplace, plush futon, wingback chair and ottoman, and private entry. Just off the dining area is a well-equipped full-size kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed, gas stove, and balcony. The luxurious bathroom boasts a claw foot tub. Painted Rock sits perched on a quaint spit of ledge rock, halfway between Lutsen and Grand Marais, on the edge of Cascade State Park. This historic log cabin has been lovingly restored to retain all its original charm and history, while updated with all the luxury amenities. The whole house has recently been updated and remodeled and is filled with light and greenery and offers lots of privacy. This cozy home offers a balance of open common areas, private relaxation spaces, and outdoor spaces to enjoy during your visit.

Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
