Hillwalking, cycling, Golfing, or horse riding what ever your interest we have something for you. Situated 10 miles from Newry city and Dundalk with 2 local villages & nearby bars and restaurants.

Countryside farm stay

Welcome to our barn conversion which we hope will provide you with the perfect escape, a base for your countryside adventures or a bed after exploring nearby towns and cities. Located on a working dairy farm the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people. At the moment only the ground floor apartment is available to guests. Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 min by car to Dundalk.

Tullydowey Gate Lodge

Situated beside the village of Blackwatertown on the border between counties Tyrone and Armagh. Tullydowey Gate Lodge is a Grade B1 listed property built in 1793. Restoration of the gate lodge was completed in 2019 and undertaken with the utmost regard for the history of the building with many of the existing 18th century features sympathetically maintained whilst providing the comforts of 21st century living in a traditional country cottage style turning it once again into a real eye catcher.

Still with its original external features while modernised inside for a relaxing stay. A peaceful retreat away to explore the local countryside, with looping walks located beside Cashel lake and 10 minutes from Camlough lake we’ll know for its local swimming and water sports. It is located 15 minutes from both Newry and Dundalk.

Our 'Tranquil Haven by the River Fane' is just a 12.5 KM. drive from the M1 Motorway and part of the famous ‘Drumlin Country’ of Co Monaghan. 'Candlefort Lodge' is a 95 sq m./(1022sq ft.) sized apartment at the lower ground level of our home. It is self-contained, bright, and private. Come to our locale and enjoy a relaxing experience with a beautiful outlook onto a spacious garden with the River Fane flowing by.

The perfect country retreat at the foot of Slieve Gullion - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Conservation. Overlooking green fields of cows and sheep. It is ideal for hiking, cycling, golfing or exploring the local towns of Newry and Dundalk. We are less than 10 minutes to Killeavy Castle Hotel and Slieve Gullion Forest Park and 30 minutes to the coastal resorts of Carlingford and Warrenpoint. We are very accessible to Dublin and Belfast both being within one hours drive away.

An Lochta

An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath. Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. (Unfortunately the layout of the building renders it unsuitable for wheelchair users).
