Welcome to our cottage, nestled on the banks of world-renowned limestone stream, the Yellow Breeches Creek. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing escape or a central hub to explore all of Central PA! Our location is perfect as we are: -0.8 miles to Liberty Forge Resort -5.9 miles to Ski Roundtop -8 miles to the State Capitol Building -20 miles to Hershey Park + Giant Center Under 40 miles to York, Lancaster, Gettysburg and beyond! Our home is all one level living, with parking for two cars.

Nature and privacy abounds at the newly remodeled Happalachian House. We get our name from the Appalachian Trail, just 1 mile down the road. You'll enjoy sitting on the patio watching the daily deer foraging for their meals, while the birdfeeders on the property bring in a variety of different species to enjoy, as well. There are 2 firepits, perfect for s'more and late night chats. The most popular nearby attractions are: Allenberry Playhouse, Gettysburg, Ski Roundtop and Hershey Park.

The cottage has 120’ of creek front access great for fishing, tubing, kayaking and canoeing. The porch has wonderful view of creek and sunsets. Enjoy the fire pit or a game of hoops! Easy access to major highways and Hershey, Carlisle, Lancaster and farm show. Private but minutes to everything convenience means you will hear road when outside. Dogs allowed w/fee.

Old Charm Getaway

Enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located Farm house chic property. Plenty of rooms, one & a half bathrooms, free private parking, & safe neighborhood. New Cumberland is in walking distance. Harrisburg City, the Capitol, is a 5-minute drive. We are currently doing light remodeling (painting, flooring, redecorating) but nothing that interferes with the functions of the house. The place might not be perfect, but it will be the perfect place to stay while you're in town
