Nature and privacy abounds at the newly remodeled Happalachian House. We get our name from the Appalachian Trail, just 1 mile down the road. You'll enjoy sitting on the patio watching the daily deer foraging for their meals, while the birdfeeders on the property bring in a variety of different species to enjoy, as well. There are 2 firepits, perfect for s'more and late night chats. The most popular nearby attractions are: Allenberry Playhouse, Gettysburg, Ski Roundtop and Hershey Park.

New Cumberland is in walking distance. Harrisburg City, the Capitol, is a 5-minute drive. We are currently doing light remodeling (painting, flooring, redecorating) but nothing that interferes with the functions of the house. The place might not be perfect, but it will be the perfect place to stay while you're in town
