The place was clean and set up perfectly. A little deck overlooking the bay. A dock to sit on and enjoy the sunsets, osprey nest with chicks right to the right of us. Rode our bikes into Duck every morning for a wonderful nature walk & stop into stores. The bedrooms were comfortable with closets and dressers for everyone’s stuff. We loved it!

We had the most amazing stay! Rebecca was extremely communicative and made sure we knew everything we needed to! The place looked exactly as pictures and was very clean. It was a short walk to the beach (about 5 minutes) and the private pool was so nice to come back to! We would absolutely stay at one of Rebecca’s houses again!

We enjoyed our stay here, the house was very clean and well stocked with dishes, cookware, paper products and linens. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the dock watching the Ospreys. The location was perfect for exploring the Outer Banks. The town of Duck is beautiful, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Most of them are all connected by a .78 mile boardwalk along the sound. Cheri was a great host, very responsive and informative.

Elissa was a wonderful host! We had a few issues with the temperature of the pool, but Elissa responded promptly and those issues were resolved in a timely manner. The house was fabulous and everyone in our party had a great time. The private dock on the sound side was such a huge bonus...we set our crab trap (although it was probably too early in the season), launched our own personal kayak, and enjoyed the remarkable sunsets every day of our trip. The beach on the ocean side was a reasonable walk away. We can't wait to return to this place again!

Stayed during a duck hunt and worked out perfect. Everything with the house was as listed. Check in was easy and instructions were clear.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

Andrew's home was wonderful for our crew of 6! It's located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood 30 seconds fromTimbuc II where there is a nice variety of shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed for cooking & baking. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were large enough where we didn't feel cramped even after bringing our suitcases in. The water pressure is excellent in each of the showers, which was perfect in order to ensure we could rinse off the salt and sand as needed. The hot tub was a nice bonus along with all the games in the basement. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

This was our 2nd time staying in the upstairs big studio unit. WE love this place as we are a USCG family and our family/grandkids are there in E-City. Great view, right on the bay, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Alice is the best, she answers quickly and is flexible about arrival times which helps when driving from Raliegh to E-City. It is a joy to stay there. We fish so love what she has done with her big boathouse on the property where you can relax out of the weather or sun and fish, socialize, watch the bay, etc. You have everything you need in there for a wonderful stay. All amenities! Sunrises and sunsets are amazing!!!!! thanks again Alice for a great visit.

This cottage is easily the best place to stay in the entire area—even including the neighboring counties. It’s right on the water and comes fully stocked with everything you could possibly need: kayaks, tons of dishes, towels, and all the essentials. The space is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. Between the waterfront views from inside the cottage, available kayaks, and bonfire setup, it truly has everything for a perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay the beach was walking distance and we got to enjoy the hot tub will come again in the future and do recommend anyone to stay here beautiful house peaceful place and host was very kind and informative.

This home has the most amazing view! Watching the sunrise over the sound every morning was breathtaking. It is about a half hour from the entrance to the Outer Banks, but we were more than happy to trade the drive for the absolute peace and tranquility of this home's serene location. The kitchen is well appointed so we enjoyed starting and ending each day with our own homemade breakfast and dinner.

We have been going to the Duck area for 15ish years. This was our first time on the sound. We enjoyed the privacy of the area and the sound/sunset views. The beach for the access pass is nice. They list some good restaurant options but if you like to fix your own meals, fresh fish can be had at Dockside n Duck. It’s a regular morning visit for us. Enjoy the place!

From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.
