Look no further for your perfect vacation experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing and private sojourn this. is. the. place!!! From the spacious outdoor area with the most beautiful flowing creek, to the oh so cozy inside (we were lucky enough to use the wood stove), and 2 balconies to stargaze this place is a no brainer. I recommend staying more than 1 night to soak in all this space has to offer! Heather was an amazing host- extremely kind and responsive to communicate with! Perfect location for if you’ve visiting the Great Sand Dunes. While driving around town, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I hope to be back soon 😀

Fantastic place!!! We had a 30 day stay with 4 adults and 2 dogs. The house was very clean and welcoming. Everything you needed for a long-term stay was supplied. Beautiful views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range!! Lots of wildlife around the property, birds, hummingbirds, hawks, eagles, elk, mule deer, prong horns, prairie dogs and much more!! Vernon and Mary were very friendly and gracious hosts, and they are close by if you need anything. The town of Westcliffe is a short 15-minute drive from the house with many unique shops and restaurants. We loved our stay, and I am sure you will too!!

We enjoyed our stay. The home was nice and clean. It had great views and was very peaceful sitting on the deck. We would recommend to anyone.

The earthship was quiet, warm, and peaceful, even on a very windy day! The wood stove and gas fireplace were easy to use and cozy. The record player and old records were fun and novel. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could need. And, of course, Crestone is beautiful. Sean and Thomas were always responsive and kind in their messages, and we briefly got to chat with Thomas, which was lovely.

Staying at the Hobbitat was such a a treat! Jeff and Ruth are fantastic hosts and have created something so special. We felt so lucky to have experienced it for a few days. We especially enjoyed finding the hidden treasures in the architecture, sitting out on the balconies enjoying the mountain views, star gazing, and bird watching, and the quick trips to explore downtown Crestone. This was one of our more unique stays and we would highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! Great communication, gorgeous house and setting, and everything you could need provided. One of the best Airbnb that we have stayed at, and we travel a lot. Incredible stay!

Beautiful home, looked just like the photos. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. It was just a few minutes from downtown Crestone, which was also nice. After we checked out, Michelle contacted us and asked us for $20 to pay for firewood, which I thought should be included. We paid without complaint and moved on as we did have a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and tidy and well stocked with pots and pans, plates, silverware, etc. The house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation.

Great value for plenty of space. The views are amazing. We enjoyed our holiday and spent time doing puzzles, going for walks, reading and cooking. The kitchen is very well stocked. It's an incredibly peaceful location with tons of stars at night.

What a special gem of a place!! We stopped over for two nights to see Great Sand Dunes National Park and had no idea what an incredible stay we would have at Lillian’s home. She was so communicative and helpful and the whole upstairs was so clean, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need in it. And the sun room was amazing! The views from every side of the house were remarkable and we could see all the stars at night from the balcony. Lillian even showed us the chickens and baby chicks and supplied us with fresh eggs! Truly such a thoughtful host and special place- wish we had had more time to spend there!

It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we were looking for! We took our two dogs and hiked Humboldt on Friday morning… what a beautiful summit. Cabin was super original and the property was quiet. Will be back

Lisa & David were so welcoming and friendly in letting us rent their guest suite! They have a beautiful little casita on gorgeous land walking distance from a little stream that runs parallel. Everything inside was very clean and we had everything we needed. The town is cute and only about a 5 minute drive with wonderful local food options. We will definitely be back!

Nicely decorated apartment right in the center of town. On the ground floor however there are a few steps up to the door. The kitchen was very pretty and we appreciated having two bathrooms and two bedrooms for a party of three. The owners were easy to contact and quickly responded to our questions before our stay.

This house was a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a week. The kitchen was so easy to cook in, the views from the living room and office/second bedroom were gorgeous, the house was sparely decorated and very peaceful. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance of a wonderful mountain trail. We enjoyed our restorative stay very much. The house was very cozy and warm for our stay in late December.

My family (me, my husband, mom, and brother) loved staying here. The space is very relaxing- plenty of recline seating in the living room, comfortable beds in all three rooms, and the hot tub is a great place to stargaze. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking several meals in. Our dogs loved the backyard and the view is incredible from the front yard. Location felt secluded but only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute stroll to town. Charley was a wonderful, friendly, and welcoming host.

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful and peaceful - the pictures do not do it justice. Jonalyn was very attentive and responsive. The house definitely feels like a home. As a plant lover , I was impressed by the variety of her thriving plants. Bed was very comfortable with high quality linens. Well stocked kitchen. Very dog friendly with two fenced in yards and a doggie door. We would definitely book again.

Very lovely home the whole family enjoyed this place, just wish we could of stayed longer. Dark sky with amazing view at night view is beautiful even at daytime. would definitely book again in another occasion.

The home was wonderful! Great layout and beautiful outside and inside! Being dog friendly was definitely a big bonus. Very Clean, comfortable beds, cozy blankets, and would definitely stay here again!

Merediths home was exactly what we needed after a backpacking trip in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains….. surrounded by Mountain View’s her home was so peaceful and had everything thing we needed to relax and unwind for a few days…exceptional house in a private setting!!!
