Enjoy a stay at our lovely modern and quirky terrace house in the Welsh Valleys. The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. History buffs will find numerous interesting sites to visit nearby. If you are looking for some where peaceful to work there is a dedicated office space and wifi. The train station is a 4 minute drive up the road for an easy commute into Newport or Cardiff. Amenities nearby.

We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Electic 19th century miners’ cottage sitting next to the river. Nature meets history in this quiet corner of Wales. It is now a fully renovated artist’s house, presented for a comfortable stay- you are invited to set the projector to your favorite account for movie night. Soak in the hot tub, or rest and listen to the river, before exploring the waterfalls, the stories and the histories on your doorstep. Nature, pubs and shops are walkable, Beacons, Newport, Cardiff & Abergavenny drivable.

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Thoughtfully furnished and recently updated, it’s ideal for relaxing with family or working comfortably away from home, with fast Wi-Fi and a workspace. With direct train links to Cardiff & Newport, and the Brecon Beacons within easy reach by car, the cottage works well for work trips, family visits, or exploring the wider area.

Our cottage is a lounge/Kitchen that is light & airy with French doors leading to the patio, I supply milk, Tea, coffee, sugar, cereal, cake, biscuits, We have a washing machine & Tumble dryer in the kitchen, These are NOT for use of one Night Stays, Only for guests staying 4 days or longer. Upstairs, double bedroom, TV, Hairdryer, wardrobe, hangers, bedside cabinets lamps, Iron & ironing Board. Bathroom bath & overhead shower, I supply Towels, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner & toilet rolls,

Blaenavon Log Cabin in the town of Big Pit

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space, close the curtains, light the log fire and chill to some music or maybe watch a film of your choice on Netflix. The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. The cabin as heating on at all times, but if you want that wow factor, light up the log fire and just relax. (If you have never lit a log burner we can show you how to do it)

The cabin overlooks a river ,real log fire , 1 min to A467 , 4 mins or 20 min walk to train station, plenty of cycle routes and walks , we don’t accept pets as we have a cat , supermarket close , short drive to Brecon beacons , we are gay friendly , free parking on drive 😄 local club 1 min walking distance ,very welcoming 😀 we don’t accept any bookings without reviews

It has stunning 180 degrees views of the valley and has fantastic local walks and bike routes from the doorstep. Local attractions include The Brecon Beacons National Park, Cardiff city and Bay, Bike Park Wales, Cwmcarn Forest, Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and The Big Pit National Coal Museum.
