Cosy place to stay, had character. Very friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location, close to city activities without the busyness of the city. The complementary wine was a nice touch for our anniversary and greatly appreciated.

Very comfortable stay. Well located. Lovely restored historic property. Very interesting property. Beautiful grounds. We had our kelpie dog with us who enjoyed the grounds.

Great stay, staff were very accommodating and helpful and hotel is in a great location to great restaurants and cafes as well as many city attractions.

Definitely a beautiful historic inn that oozes character and encourages you to sit back and enjoy. John’s efforts to preserve and share the history of both the inn and the town are to be commended. So nice that it permits the furry family members to stay is also a bonus. It’s well worth it and we will definitely be back.

This is our first visit to Sydney. Our group of 6 pax has a very pleasant stay at Veriu Camperdown. Especially, they have a very clear instruction for our late check-in (due to night flight). Highly appreciated. However, I could give a higher rate if they could replenish the tissue, towels and any necessary at least every 2-3 days. Generally, the staffs are super helpful and will provide what you needed. Thank you for the treats!

We loved our stay at historic Fitzroy Inn. The building and grounds are beautiful and John and the girls at reception were very friendly and welcoming.

All the staff members we spoke to were absolutely lovely and able to help with anything! The room was very relaxing with a comfortable bed and soft pillows. 10/10 would recommend! The utilities were fabulous. We walked everywhere during our stay, and the rates of the car park were great.

We were passing through Newcastle, so we only stayed for one night, but if we were to come back and stay longer, we would be considering booking into this place again.
