The Cottage

Take it easy at this traditional Irish stone cottage, located within a short distance of the historic Bailieborough Forest and Castle Lake in Co. Cavan. This area is noted for its many lakes and is very popular for angling, canoeing etc. Community Swimming Pool and Gym in local town. Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

The Leck Loft

Our loft is 4 miles from Monaghan town, population 10,000approx. It is located roughly an hour and a half from Dublin and Belfast. Local amenities include 18 hole golf course and driving range, Rossmore Forest park (1.5miles), cinema, leisure centre, a number of pubs and restaurants (4 miles), Glaslough Castle and Equestrian centre (7 miles). There are numerous local lakes for fishing and the Bragan region offers various walking trails.

If you are looking for a country retreat full of character and charm Tattymorris Cottage is it! Having built the cottage and spent many happy years here, myself and my wife have decided to see some more of the world and would love to have guests enjoy our retreat as much as we do.
