Chalet très accueillant, excellent rapport qualité/prix ! Tout correspondait à la description c'était parfait! Le seul bémol étant la qualité de la vaisselle quand nous sommes arrivés, les ustensiles étaient rangés sales dans les placards, mais avec le lave-vaisselle à disposition, le problème a été résolu en un temps record. Tout le reste était parfaitement propre, c'est n'est qu'un détail qui n'a absolument pas dérangé notre séjour ! Mention spéciale aux peignoirs mis à disposition pour aller profiter des sauna et jaccuzzi, ils sont très appréciés !

We had a cozy and fun stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage is newly built, very clean, and well designed. It provided us everything we needed and more! 4 comfortable bedrooms that were quiet enough for us to be there with a 1-year-old. Lorie is a very thoughtful host and was quick to answer any questions we had. The lake was still frozen when we were there but it looks like a great spot to canoe and swim. Already discussing when we can return!

If I could rate this place in one sentence it would be "we wished we lived here". Everyone in my family (dog included) loved the property. It was CLEAN, nice, spacious, warm and exactly as what you see in the photos. We didn't use the indoor fireplace at all as the home was well heated (I get cold easily too). The living room makes you feel very cozy when the sunsets and watching the stars at night here is breathtaking. The hosts sends you a PDF guide prior to your arrival so you know what to expect and a hard copy is available onsite as well. We mainly communicated with Foad and he was very responsive, kind and really helped us out when we got lost on our way there. Quick tip: use Google Maps! The hosts also provided complimentary chocolate and champagne when you arrive which was an added bonus. I'm also very thankful for the complimentary Keurig/ hot chocolate! Will definitely revisit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Eliane’s place! The cottage was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and has a beautiful view on the Ottawa River. We would stay there any time again.

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! And Janice don’t forget I want you to live with us in Australia to style our hone! Best regards E &G & family

Great host he is very helpful and understanding, the place is a very relaxing and cozy with lots of amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Rebecca’s place felt like home away from home as soon as you stepped inside. It had lots of seating and was very comfortable. Even though the lake was still frozen over the grounds were so nice we were able to spend lots of time outside with the dogs. It’s hard to find this level of accommodation that also accepts pets. There were dog beds and gates set up that made having our dogs there easy and safe but no sign of other pets having been there like smell or hair making it ideal for those who aren’t with pets as well. Hot tub was well maintained and gorgeous views! All amenities needed and beautiful bathrooms. Felt like a 5 star hotel with cottage amenities with the layout, items provided and decor. Would 10/10 stay again! Looking forward to heading back when the weather is nice for some time on the lake and in the walkable shoreline! Thanks again Rebecca!

Our friends and family had an awesome time at The Hidden Porch. Such a cozy place with every amenity you could possibly want. The hot tub and sauna were so great to have, clean and easy to use. The house was so clean and spacious, so well-stocked. The property is beautiful and had deer around every morning. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing. Thanks so much!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

This place was beautiful and beyond what we expected. We ended up staying an extra night due to a big ice storm. We had no choice. The roads were blocked with fallen down trees. Marcia was very accommodating and responded quickly to our messages. We had no hydro and she had a generator for us to use and her husband instructed us to use it. All Marcia cared about was how we were doing and if we were safe. She made sure we were good for hydro and heat. Would I come here again or recommend other people to come…… of course❤️ You’d be crazy not to make this your getaway. Thank you Marcia❤️

My family and I were happy to stay at this rental property for a second time over the Easter long weekend. Barry continues to be a great host. The home remains spacious enough for a big family (and dog!), while remaining cozy and comfortable. We had yet another peaceful weekend in the Valley. Thank you for your hospitality once again, Barry! We look forward to our next visit.

A lovely and relaxing cottage in a serene landscape. Truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return back one day.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end avec des amis, la saison ne nous a pas permis d'exploiter tout le potentiel du chalet mais nous avons quand même pu faire du canoë sur le lac. Le chalet est assez spacieux pour 8 personnes et très agréable à vivre ! Julie est une hôte accommodante et très réactive. Nous la remercions encore de nous avoir accueillis si gentiment dans son chalet familial.

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

This has got to be one of the best vacations I’ve had. Insung’s place was very peaceful and quiet, while still having a lot of things to do. The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. My partner and I rented a boat from a local outfitter but unfortunately didn’t catch any fish, I’m assuming it’s because of the season. There is also a small, private shallow “beach” by the dock which can be perfect for kids. The gazebo is lovely for the times you want to be outside but not with the bugs! Overall, Insung’s place was a dream! I will definitely be back with my family! Thank you, Insung!

My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed at Amanda's for a week stay. It was a lovely cottage, very comfortable and cozy on a beautiful lake. Having access to kayaks canoe, paddle boat made the stay great, along with the hot tub was a great bonus. The cottage instructions were helpful to better plan the trip, and Amanda and Cindy were very responsive. A lovely stay for some rest and relaxation with family.

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay - nice and quiet area and a great base for exploring Manitou mountain and calabogie peaks resort. Clean and tidy. Recommend!

It was a wonderful cottage in a beautiful setting. Sparkling clean, well furnished, with more amenities than you could ever imagine. We stayed for 3 days but wish it could have been 3 weeks.

Jim’s place was great and had absolutely everything we needed (well stocked on coffee, tea, spices etc). My two sisters and I went up for a quiet getaway for a few days and it was just lovely. The cottage itself is beautiful and so is the property. We came during winter and it was still gorgeous but we can only imagine how extremely beautiful it is in summer when you can enjoy more time outside. Everything was so clean inside and they had thought of tons of small things to keep us comfortable. Well worth the drive and visit to this beautiful place and we would love to come again!

We had the best weekend! The house is perfect. Fully equipped with everything you could need and decorated so lovely- I can’t think of anything I’d want different. The location is idyllic- peaceful, beautiful, yet very convenient to get to lovely local trails. Peter was incredibly friendly and quick to respond. I hope we get an opportunity to return as we would 100% recommend it!

My family of 11 (parents, grandparents, siblings, kids) had a lovely stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The cabins were so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking etc, and Janet was quick to respond to any concerns and questions we had during our stay. The weather was lovely, the cabins were so charming and comfortable, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We would absolutely consider coming back again.

This gem tucked on the Madawaska River is ideal for many reasons: - the cabin is situated on a small hill overlooking the flowing river, it is peaceful and beautiful, cosy and cute. - it is located in an area that is great for those looking for a little wanderlust/adventure close by - Tooey's Lake & Lake Clear were the nearby lakes that were great for day trips! - and the cabin itself is very clean, well equipped for making meals, and super comfortable - the mattresses were amazing, plush and comfortable. Luka is a terrific host, attentive, quickly responsive, and added some nice touches to our stay (provided wood for our fires, and dropped off some extra essentials that we needed). Keep in mind to bring your linens, and that swimming is not ideal for those with mobility issues, although, for those more experienced swimmers, it is a great spot to enjoy the water. We will be back, thanks Luka! 5 Stars all around.
