Relax in a spacious, private suite nestled on 1.5 acres in a premier birding area of Cape Island. You are staying in Cape May's original Lifeguard Headquarters, renovated with a new deck, patio, bathroom, and beautiful views of Shunpike Pond. Includes a private deck and patio, BBQ, parking, Queen bed, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee bar. The suite does not have a separate bedroom. It is attached to the main house. Lovely three room waterfront guest suite conveniently located less than 10 minutes from historic Chestertown and Washington College. Beautiful views of our tidal creek, full kitchen, wooded lot, quiet neighborhood, bird watching, kayaking, great biking & running. Friendly pets (indoor cats and dogs who can share the yard with us and our dog) are welcome. We donate a portion of proceeds to Kent Attainable Housing, the Animal Care Shelter of Kent County or ShoreRivers conservation—your choice.

Guest Suite with Private Entrance

My wife Justine and I are pleased to host this guest suite with private secure entrance and private bathroom. We do live in the main part of the house full time so you may hear us rattling around from time to time and coming and going or working in the yard but most of our time is spent at the opposite end of the house. The room is completely private and inaccessible from the main house. The screened in porch is shared with the main house. We do not currently have WiFi access in the Airbnb.
