The Barn at Tan Y Rhiw nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with spectacular views of Moel Ddu. A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Glyn Shepherds Hut is the perfect base for exploring everything that Snowdonia and the North Wales coast have to offer. My place is in the Snowdonia mountains, great views. You’ll love my place because of the location. My place is good for couples, groups, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). If you like walking the mountains or easier more level walks this is the place to be. The house is 30 min drive from Surf Snowdonia, Zip world, Penrhyn Quarry, Zip World Bounce Below, Zip World Forest, The Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway. There are many Welsh Castles within a short drive.

Rhiw Goch Cottage is a spacious detached one bedroom stone-built cottage with wood burner dating from the 18th century or earlier. Our guests love the cottage for it's rustic charm and beautiful gardens with viewpoints over the Lledr valley. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE we are unable to accept children under 10 yr old due to safety reasons.
