Wake up to the stunning panoramic views over Glencolmcille Village, Glen Head and the Atlantic Ocean that are simply unforgettable.Glencolmcille village is only a ten minute walk and has a shop with fuel pumps, two pubs one serving lovely home cooked food,a cafe , post office and restaurant . Glencolmcille beach and the folk village are also in walking distance.The Slieve League cliffs and the silver strand beach are a 15 minute drive away.

A 5-minute drive to numerous award-winning restaurants and cosy pubs and just a 10-minute walk to the village of Clonmany.

We have breath taking views right from the doorstep, in a very scenic part of the countryside. We are just a short drive from Dunfanaghy with a number of beaches near by. Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket and Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. The check in time is between 4pm and 7pm. Check out time is 11am. We need to know an estimated time of arrival please.

This tastefully restored formed Sheep Farmer's cottage is ideal base for your visit to Donegal. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside the village of Kilcar with Sleive League to the West and Killybegs and Donegal town to the south. This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.

The house is a short drive to Malinhead with its Northern Lights and its Star Wars' location and yet only 2 kms out from Malin Village. The beautiful Five Fingers Strand is a short drive or longer walk away. The hottub is also available for guests.
