Located less than two miles from Camel’s Hump trail head and less than 30 miles from ski resorts, including Stowe, Sugarbush, Bolton, Cochran and Mad River. The area offers plenty of outdoor activities from hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, kayaking and only 15 min from local restaurants, breweries and shops.

A friend once referred to our town as Mayberry. It's definitely a small town where people look out for each other. In the heart of the village, walking distance from local restaurants, brewery's, and shops as well as mountain bike trails. 5 mi from a beach where you can rent canoes/kayaks/paddle boards. Enjoy the slopes, hiking, Ben and Jerry's, local brewery's, or the Vt. landscape. Settle in to the open floor plan at the end of the day and cozy up on a king sized bed watching Netflix's.

Modular home has only ever been a short term rental and never fully lived in. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including one master bathroom. Electric fireplace to gather around after a long day playing in the snow. Large movie collection for stay at home days. Badger Cottage offers a true rustic Vermont experience nestled in the woods with spectacular views and a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

Cozy Cottage in the Mad River Valley

My dad and I built this home from 2015-2019 working mostly on the weekends. We did everything we could ourselves including all the framing, siding, and fine woodworking. It has abundant natural and artificial light and a beautiful deck/porch. We made sure to build a lot of storage space with built in closets, cabinets, and drawers. I am very proud of what we accomplished and I'm so excited to be able to share our creation with guests.
