Loved our little get away weekend at this location! Highly recommend. We are nurses and needed some time away from New Orleans. Due to the snow storm and being locked down at the hospital our plans got pushed back and Stephen was flexible with us. So glad this worked out and we had a cozy, beautiful place to get away. Thank you!

As always my stay here has exceeded my expectations! I absolutely love coming here and they treat us like family! Would highly highly recommend to anyone stopping by for the weekend or even in town who just needs a vacation. We were in the area for a bowling tournament, the property was an easy 30-40 minute drive into Baton Rouge, There is plenty of games and entertainment for guests at the property. It is a great place to relax. We would definitely stay at this property again if in the area.

The place was perfect for our family! We had (6) adults and (2) grand kids, each couple had a nice large bedroom and the kids in a spacious bunk room. The whole house was very roomie with lots of fun games for the kids too. But it looks like a great fishing place, my son-in-law took the kids out fishing and they quickly caught a catfish, the kids were ecstatic! It was close to great eating and places but very much in out in the county, beautiful home in a very nice setting!

Rons home felt like home away from home! It fit all of us adults and the children comfortably with no issues and plenty of space! Its nicely decorated through out and was clean upon arrival! Ron allowed us to check in early and didnt charge us the extra fee to add my niece who last minute joined! The back patio was very nice for some down time after a busy day sight seeing! This was the perfect loacation to be in a nice neighborhood and no chaos but close enough to go do things in new orleans if you decide! We felt extremely safe staying thanks to all the cameras! The gym was nice but we enjoyed the hot tub alot more! The kids favortie part was the whirlpool tub that actually works! Was a beautiful home to call home temporaily for our family vacation, i would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Casa Del Rio was a wonderful place to chill. The place was HUGE. I think all of us (6 women) were doing our makeup in the Master bathroom at once, its about the size of a large kitchen! The kitchen and family room are an open concept and located right off the hot tub & pool area, so that was great for social circulation. the house is VERY remote, but there are a couple really good local restaurants about 5 min away. There is a grocery store about 10 min away. We saw a gecko on the out side of the house, and an aligator in the river as soon as we got there! Chris, the host was very responsive, and even proactive about communication. He also had 2 other people (sub hosts?) that were ready to jump in and help if needed. wonderful stay.
