Hi I'm Inglenook (another Wandylaw Cottage), come to me for a complete self catering experience. I have great views and I'm not far from the beach. You’ll love me because of my cosy fire, the views, and the location, just off the A1. Im good for couples, solo adventurers, families and furry friends (pets). 10 mins north of Alnwick - so visit the castle where Harry Potter was filmed. Walking, castles, beaches are amazing here. The coastline is beautiful or go and grab some crab in Craster.

Oriel House, Warkworth

Whisk yourself away to Oriel House in the beautiful, historic village of Warkworth on the breathtaking North Northumberland Coast. Set in the picturesque coastal village of Warkworth, with its’ artisan shops, cafes and gastro pubs. Oriel House enjoys an exceptional setting within this beautiful village, directly opposite the majestic medieval Warkworth Castle. Number Sixteen is a small Victorian terrace in the old part of town. Recently refurbished after standing empty, the house has been completely reworked inside to provide a comfortable, up to date home in the centre of Alnwick. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and separate shower and a large airy double bedroom with super-king size bed. Number Sixteen is a short walk from all amenities (pubs, restaurants, shops, bus station) and from attractions such as Alnwick Castle.

Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

If you’d prefer to eat out, Alnwick’s many restaurants, cafés and pubs are only a few minutes’ walk away.
