As part of Palmas de Cortez Resort, you have access to seaside dining choices, bars, hot tub, wine tasting, sushi bar, gym & fire pits. Fishing boats go most every morning right from our pier. Easy access to the BEST world class guided fishing; tuna, marlin, dorado. Los Barriles, a friendly small fishing town will cook your fish & offer so many dining choices.

Jewel of the South just steps from the sea

Joyita del Sur (Jewel of the South) is a private casita just steps away from a gorgeous beach on the Sea of Cortez. Watch both the sunset and sunrise from the beach! Q bed with foam mattress and soft linens. A/C and ceiling fans in both bedroom and kitchen. Ample closet space with shelves/hangers. Kitchen has stove, frig, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and all utensils. 20 minute drive to town on a dirt road so a rental car is suggested. 2024 4-seater for rent, see “other” photos.

After kite surfing or fishing all day. Come home to a nice soak in the hot tub or dip in the pool. Outside shower to rinse off. Very peaceful and everything you need to enjoy your home away from home. You will need a car or ATV to go into town or ask me about the Uber 24/7. WE DO NOT HAVE A BBQ PIT.

Your own private casita in the garden of a beachfront home 20 minutes north of Los Barriles. Rural location, calm and secluded. Guests have access to the dipping pool—too small for swimming but perfect for cooling off and great for children. The beach in front of the house is mostly rock but there are sandy stretches a short distance away. Los Barriles and El Cardonal, both 20 minutes by road, have fine sand beaches, restaurants and stores.
