Bohemian Dreams at a Plant-filled Design Loft near the Beach

The loft was here before we moved in. It is one of the oldest buildings in Poblenou. The apartment was transformed into a big open space that includes a kitchen, a dining area, a sofa, a TV, an office space, and the bedroom. The place is in the ground floor, so it is accessible by disabled people and family with a child. We enjoy the afternoon sun and the mornings. We have sun shining into the entrance and the terrace. We've kept a lot of the industrial fittings in the space, and a lot of the furniture we've implemented follows this industrial design. One should not forget that it used to be an industrial space until earlier this year, and it's not a conventional apartment. It's one big open space, and the guest room is separated. Guests will have full access to the apartment. The accommodation includes a big open kitchen, dining area, sofa and TV area, bathroom, bedroom, terrace and plenty of space. We are usually available and love to interact with our guests. However, there are moments in which we are not available to our guests because we have our own plans. We also respect the fact that you may have plans, and don't have time to interact with us. However, we would like to enjoy a meal together at least, either a brunch or an evening snack. Our neighborhood is a vibrant, and up and coming area of Barcelona, it's a maximum 5 minutes walk to the beach, and the yellow Metro line crosses just straight outside the apartment. You need to remember the Selva de Mar stop. Around the block, there are some small restaurants and bars, there is a big supermarket called Mercadona for late night snack shopping (until 9:15 pm) or in Diagonal shopping center (until 10:00 pm). Or if you need to buy red wine for dinner. If you walk another two blocks to the South you'll find the Rambla del Poblenou, that is a pedestrian street and has numerous bars and restaurants of different quality. The Rambla Poblenou is straight all the way from Diagonal to the beach. If you like to eat tapas we can recommend you a restaurant that it is called La Tertulia in La Rambla del Poblenou or the another option is Bitacoras Restaurant near to the Rambla. If you like to eat Mexican food, “Los chilis” in La Rambla del Poblenou is a very good choice. But if you´re vegan or vegetarian, there is a vegan restaurant in front of the apartment, inside the Factory/Garden (Palo Alto) which opens Monday to Saturday. The last recommendation is “El Traspaso” which is in the corner and it is good option for the night:) You can end the night with a good cocktail and a Bloody Mary. The metro yellow line runs opposite to the beach, 5 minutes walk distance and the metro station you should look for is Selva de Mar. One thing to remember is that we are having our business registered in the space, we are freelancers, and work from home, but if someone asks, you are simply friends visiting us. Poblenou is a vibrant, up-and-coming area, with small cafes, art studios, and a pedestrian street with many restaurants and bars. The beach is just five minutes' walk away, and the yellow Metro line crosses right outside the apartment.

Appartement totalement indépendant situé au rez-de-chaussée de la maison. A l'étage supérieur vivent les propriétaires mais chacun bénéficie de sa propre entrée. Les hôtes bénéficient d'un accès privé, d'une terrasse privée. Le logement est équipé d'un salon, d'une cuisine, de deux chambres et de deux salles de bain. Les uniques zones communes sont la piscine, le barbecue et le jardin. Cependant, les propriétaires, très discrets, laissent l'accès à la piscine en priorité aux hôtes. Un logement complètement équipé, idéal pour des vacances en famille dans un environnement tranquille entre mer et montagne, tout proche de Barcelone. La propriété a un grand jardin magnifiquement planté avec piscine aménagée de chaises longues et parasol. Tu disposeras d'une terrasse privée fleurie de superbes bougainvilliers pour profiter de moments de détente, dîner et bavarder tranquillement autour d'un verre. L' accès à la piscine est direct depuis ta terrasse et pourra être fermé par une grille pour la sécurité des jeunes enfants. De même, l'escalier d'accès à la terrasse peut être fermé par une grille. Le salon est spacieux et lumineux et est équipé d'un grand ventilateur au plafond. La grande chambre principale bénéficie d'une salle de bain en suite avec douche à hydromassage, de grands placards, penderies et rangements. La décoration est soignée avec notamment de très belles toiles de peinture. La cuisine est entièrement équipé, comme à la maison, pour pouvoir cuisiner de bons petits plats en toute commodité. La maison se situe dans le quartier de Montcabrer, le plus apprécié de Cabrils pour ses maisons fleuries, ses rues bordées de pins, et proche de toutes les commodités. Tout est à portée de mains ici notamment la boulangerie traditionnelle Elias offrant le meilleur pain des environs et le bar à tapas Espinaler très apprécié par les locaux où tu pourras y prendre "le vermut", apéritif typique de Barcelone accompagné de quelques tapas. Tu pourras garer ta voiture facilement dans rue, juste devant la maison, en toute sécurité. Les plages de Cabrera et Vilassar sont à moins de 5 min en voiture ou en bus dont l'arrêt est à 400 m de la maison. Barcelone et la Sagrada Familia sont à seulement 30 min en voiture. Tu pourras également te rendre à Barcelone très facilement en train depuis Vilassar; un bus te conduira à la gare Renfe depuis l'arrêt à proximité du logement. De superbes ballades dans les montagnes de Cabrils te feront découvrir une vue panoramique sur le Maresme et Barcelone. Une petite randonnée depuis la maison jusqu'au château de Burriac sur les hauteurs de Cabrils/Cabrera t'offrira une vue imprenable sur l'arrière pays et Mataro. Tu pourras apprécier les nombreux excellents restaurants aux alentours; Cabrils est aussi appelé "le petit oasis gastronomique du Maresme". Et bien sûr, tu profiteras des fameux "chiringuitos", restaurants sur la plage à l'ambiance vacance par excellence.
