This was probably the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in! It was super clean, peaceful, and well-located. The host was very responsive, arranged scooters for us to rent, and gave us some useful tips. We had the best time having BBQs in the garden and just hanging out! We would be happy to come back one day. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a little off the beaten path and because we were travelling around by car it fit our needs exactly. Catherine and family were very helpful to assist even when we didn’t ask for help. Hopefully we will get an opportunity to stay again.

Pobyt na wyspie był najlepszym wydarzeniem całej wycieczki na Filipiny. Przepiękna wyspa, cudowne plaże, sam pokój z cudownym widokiem. Jedzenie najlepsze, jakie zjedlismy na Filipinach, w końcu była okazja, żeby spróbować filipińskich potraw tak, jak trzeba. Załoga była wspaniała, czuliśmy się zaopiekowani w każdym momencie pobytu. Dodatkowym plusem były oczywiście super pieski Charlie i Lilly z ich szczeniakami :) Jedyne o czym należy pamiętać rezerwując nocleg na Brother Island to to, żeby dobrze zaplanować wycieczkę. Dojazd nie jest najłatwiejszy, zawsze można zamówić dojazd, ale jeżeli nie jest zawarty w pakiecie, to koszt dojazdu samochodem w jedną stronę to 3500 php plus 1500 php za transfer łodzią na wyspę. Polecam każdemu, kto tylko może, pobyt na Brother Island :)

I would highly recommend Nature’s Retreat! The name is quite accurate, and if you are looking to really immerse yourself in a beautiful nature setting away from it all, this is the place. Our crew was nine friends from around the world who gathered here over New Year’s, and to give a sense of the experience, on NYE, we all waded out into the warm shallow bay surrounded by the tropical jungle and mountains, had the hosts turn off the electricity to the Retreat and welcomed in 2020 with the only lights being the stars and bright Milky Way above. Stunning. As were the bonfire the hosts built, the trips they took us on around the islands with the property’s catamaran, the massages they organized (so cheap and very very good) and the other tours they helped us arrange. In terms of the hosts, we cannot say enough good things about Sam, his family and his crew. They are incredibly kind and affable human beings, completely professional and on top of all of the logistics and always available for any assistance or advice. And a real bonus is that Sam and his wife are incredible cooks - we learned they own a restaurant in PP, and it showed in all the meals which were very well done. There is no question the place is rustic, and it is secluded (no neighbors). And that is its amazing charm. But don’t expect to be able to just pop in and out of town in 5-10 minutes on a whim. Our only caution is, before booking, check Air Swift for available flights in and out of El Nido Lio airport. Otherwise you have to fly in to Puerto Princesa and it’s about a 5-6 hour drive to the Retreat from there, depending on traffic. Shouldn’t be a problem if you look well enough in advance (which we failed to do) – so just a lesson learned. All in all, this was a really special trip for our group, and we would really recommend you consider it for yourself.

Ander ist ein super Gastgeber, das airbnb ist sauber und sehr schön ! Die Lage einfach ein Traum. Die Angestellten sind alles sehr höflich und das Essen im Resort ist ausgezeichnet. Man hat ein privat App. beim Resort, was nur von uns genutzt werden darf. Man kann das gym/spar/Pool und Restaurant mitbenutzen vom Resort. Kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Ander antwortet schnell und hilft einem immer weiter. Vielen Dank für diese Nacht, Ander!

We stayed in this villa for six days and everything was amazing. We’re a group of five and it truly felt like home — it had everything we needed, from cooking essentials to complete privacy. On top of that, the service was exceptional. Evelyn, the housekeeper, kept the place clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The hosts, Geo and Mitch, were incredibly generous — they helped us plan our activities and even prepared a lovely dinner for us. I highly recommend this villa. It’s peaceful and away from the crowds, yet still close to El Nido’s stunning spots.

My girlfriend and I had a lovely time at this Airbnb. Very friendly and welcoming family, provided us with good recommendations, transport and a complimentary beer on arrival. The place is cute and in an interesting area. Would recommend highly :)

Manfred et sa femme Rosana sont d’excellents hôtes. Très accueillant et tjs au petits soins pour leur invités. Le logement était impeccable et très calme, il y a un barbecue à disposition et possibilité de louer un scooter, ils ont même organisé notre départ, je reviendrais sans hésiter si j’en avait la possibilité. Je recommande, vous pouvez booker les yeux fermés.

All thing bright is Wonderful house, Perfect for nature lover skip from crowded area it takes 10 15 minutes away from Town going to Carabao Lodge . I love the mini Pool ! You can enjoyed naked sipping beer in the cold night, you really have privacy The only thing I heard is Toko at night 😀 (sounds good) I also can smell the Carabao Smell adopted by the nature, every morning while having my coffee, staring to the nature green, with the beautiful Carabao skull hanging on the wall. The Carabao, Lodge kitchen is made by simple wood materials but modern House, with high technology Appliances. And help full Staff even Miss Chanda gave me a motorcycle ride😊 My favorite place is the bathroom, with Monstera plant. I can’t imagine Harry”s places warm & cold hair Dryer are always available.:

We stayed at Denis's accommodation for 5 days and had an excellent experience! I really appreciated the "apartel" concept, which blends the services of a hotel—such as daily room cleaning and breakfast delivered directly to your room—with the flexibility and conveniences of an apartment. Denis was incredibly responsive and friendly, as were all the staff we interacted with during our stay. Having a scooter included was a fantastic bonus for this location.

We came here for our honeymoon and some tranquility after the wedding craze and many hours of travel from London. The place was paradise with beautiful white sands and crystal clear sea, fresh coconut juice and yummy home cooked meals. We felt like we were staying with family as everyone was so welcoming and warm. It was always quiet and private. Watching the stars at night while going for a swim was a treat. Going on the kayak during sunset and watching the sun go down behind the coconut trees on the island was absolutely breathtaking. Island hopping tours and snorkelling was available once we felt more energised and they were phenomenal. We loved taking naps in the afternoon and waking up just to get back into the sea! We enjoyed being surrounded by the animals, the cheeky goats, the pigs (especially Bacon!! Haha he’s funny!) the dogs, all playing together. We were really sad to leave and will definitely be back when we can. Thank you again to Rochelle, Vanessa and everybody!

This is a very special place indeed. My family had a wonderful time. During our 2 week journey through the Philippines, this private getaway was hands down our favorite. We were there for 4 days and each night/day was full of different adventures. Guy and his team are very responsive to any and all questions you may have. Definitely do the all inclusive option! Note that the journey from El Nido airport to stepping foot on the property will take closer to 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to eat prior or request the taxi to stop somewhere in town before getting on the boat. While the all inclusive is very helpful, they do tell you in advance that soft drinks/beers cost extra. Be mindful of this when they pack your lunches on your island hopping adventures. It would have been helpful to remind us of the extra costs as they had packed all beverages in a cooler. Finally, your all inclusive includes taxi costs so if the driver asks for more $$.. don't. We plan to return in the future!

Thanks a million to Samy and Greg for a wonderful stay in El Nido! The location of the house is perfect, it is only a few minutes walk from the main streets and beach, yet it is very quiet as it situated on a less busy side street. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. The hosts were very helpful and receptive to our check out time, allowing us to store our luggage until later in the day. All in all Picado House is highly recommended for a group stay in El Nido!

Super séjour dans une maison agréable, extrêmement bien équipée. Hôte très réactif, qui a répondu à toutes nos demandes très rapidement. Toutes les petites attentions de l'hôte et de son équipe ont fait que le séjour était encore mieux que ce que l'on attendait. L'emplacement est bien, pas loin des activités mais au calme

This was the most incredible place we've ever stayed. The entire staff that works there - the boat crew, the chef, and the main caretaker - were so welcoming, accommodating, helpful, and kind. The chef is very diverse in his cooking! We said we liked a certain dish that we had tried earlier in the trip, and he made it for us on the island!!! Every single meal was incredible. The caretaker was very kind and always had great conversation. The animals on this island are absolutely adorable. The rooms were all immaculate, and honestly, the pictures don't do this place justice for how great it is. Alfred was super helpful in getting there and making sure we had everything perfectly set! We hope to be back :)
