Our cosy cottage is on a quiet 10-acre property in the dark sky reserve, and has stunning mountain views. It’s just 17km from the town of Twizel, and offers both privacy & modern comforts. Visit Tekapo or Mt Cook then relax in a wood-fired hot tub under the stars of the dark sky reserve. Very safe location. 50 mins to Mt Cook/Tekapo. 2.5 hrs to Queenstown/4 hrs to Christchurch.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with uninterrupted views across the adjacent Golf Course to the Mountains .My Apartment is located in the Waitaki lakes Apartment Complex , situated behind the Otematata eatery and bar . It is a great base to explore Tekapo, Twizel, Mount Cook , clay cliffs at Omarama and the Coastal town of Oamaru . It is also on the A20 cycle trail . My Apartment is a golfers paradise and has an outdoor eating area and Sky T V. WiFi (wireless) is provided

The Moorings

The Moorings is a special place to stay in Oamaru. You will never tire of the view over the harbour. The home itself is immaculate and stylishly renovated. The beds and linen are excellent quality. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The walk down the path to the house is well worth it. The home is close to the Penguin Colony, the old part of town and Scott's Brewery. Unfortunately, the house is not child-friendly. We are unable to take bookings which include young children.

This 2 bedroom spacious cottage with all the comforts of home. Fantastic views of mountains fields with this year being along side hectares of sunflowers, flowering mid January 2026 . Private open space all only a 5min drive from the center of Oamaru. All your basic supplies are there ready and waiting .

The 125m2 space is full of all the luxuries of a new modern day appartment and is exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay.

Cape Wanbrow Cottage

This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.

Shepherd’s Rest - outdoor bath, alpaca & sheep

The Shepherd's Rest is a Shepherds Hut and glamping experience. The hut is situated on a 300 acre bull beef farm and approx a 10 minute drive to central Oamaru. Unwind in the outdoor bathtub (gas heated). The 3 alpaca & pet sheep are your friendly neighbours. 4pm Farm Tour for additional fee. The country location is the perfect place to relax, star gaze, enjoy the scenery, birdsong & farm sounds. It’s a great base to explore Oamaru & the Waitaki area.

We have 2 spacious bedrooms with comfortable king beds & fresh white linen. There is new fully equipped kitchen, free high speed WIFI & free parking outside the house. Our house is a gorgeous cottage with fresh, modern decor & everything you need for your stay in Oamaru.

Buckley’s Retreat

We offer this unique tiny home with fantastic Ocean views. You can wake to the sunrise and watch the sunset at night all from your bed. We offer continental breakfast. Which includes eggs if the hens are laying. Outdoor spa, Complementary snacks and beverages. You may also bring your dog. 5mins drive to the centre of town. But have restaurants and grocery shops near by. Off street parking also. Just on the town boundary with a rural feel.

Seascape

Nestled amongst the native trees, up on sunny South hill , hides a mid-century gem. Elevated over the garden with a deck that completes the house giving prime views of the ocean and sunrise. 2 minutes down the hill to the historic precinct filled with many delights including Blue Penguins ,bakery, coffee, art galleries and breweries.The East Coast golden sand beaches are a short ten minute drive away.

The Kakanui Cube

This fabulous little contemporary beach house is right across the road from the ocean. Stroll along the waterfront to Campbell's Bay surf break and the gorgeous sandy beach to All Day Bay. The Cube is the place to really relax and recharge enjoying the views and gorgeous sunrise and sunset. Chill out at home or get out for a surf or walk on the beach.
