Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

The Gate lodge Cottage at Emo Court

The Gate lodge at Emo Court is a beautiful old stone cottage at the old gates to Emo Court, it is surrounded by woodland walks. A minute walk to the centre of Emo village where there is a shop/post office/country pub/Italian restaurant and church. Free entry to Emo Court gardens and lake walk . You can take a tour ( small fee)of this historic property . CaToCa Fine food and giftware is also at Emo Court where you can enjoy there award winning tea rooms open daily 10am to 6pm and Giftshop.

Villa Jokubas The Jungle

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms.
