This is our personal home we use when lucky enough to be in the area. Our daughter married a sweet young man from here & we fell in love with this beautiful, friendly community and its adorable waterfront and downtown areas. Our location is also a great base for exploring Evansville, Owensboro, & Henderson.

Little Monticello

Little Monticello is a spacious 3 bedroom home one block away from the beautiful river front. Great walking paths. Walking distance to downtown Newburgh dining and shops. The master bedroom has a king size bed , bedroom # 2 has a queen size bed and dressing table. Bedroom #4 has a full size bed.. Bedrooms 1&2 have TV’s in them. The side porch is great for relaxing or hanging out with the little ones. There is a full size washer and dryer located in the kitchen area behind the barn door.

Very nice one bedroom one bath duplex, centrally located near all area hospitals (driving distance between 1.8 and 12 miles). This is a perfect spot for travelers. The space has updated furnishings a covered front porch, keyless entry, off street parking, a storage garage and your own private laundry. We love to host traveling workers. Let us know your needs and we are glad to try to accommodate. We are set up for monthly bookings but will do our best to accommodate weekly inquiries

Historic Downtown Newburgh

Restored 1938 home with original oak floors. You will have this sunny and homey house all to yourself. We have WiFi. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and only 3 blocks from the Ohio River and the River Walk. There are a couple of restaurants that overlook the river and within walking distance. We have plenty of grocery stores, pharmacies, gas, a theatre and only 10 minutes from the east side of Evansville. Newburgh is a great walking town with historical houses and civil war history.

This home, built in 1864, promises an unforgettable stay, where timeless charm meets modern luxury. A short drive to USI, Mesker Zoo, Disc Golf Course, Helfrich Golf course, and Franklin St. which hosts the Fall Festival, boutiques & bars. Upon entering, guests are met with hardwood floors and a driftwood dining table. Guests have full access to this 3 BR and 1 bath and parking for 5 standard vehicles (see photo for parking visual). Welcome to the Dr. J.R. Mitchell House! Built in 1909 as what is believed to be the first animal clinic in Evansville, this century-old home has been renovated and modernized. This downstairs apartment was Dr. Mitchell’s original animal clinic while his family’s quarters was located upstairs. Inside, you’ll discover urban comfort at our 2 bed, 2 bath apartment and be just steps away from shopping, dining, and all that the downtown riverfront area has to offer.
