This 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment once housed the President of the Farmers Bank of Floyd, which was the building's first floor (the vault and safe are still intact). It has been painstakingly restored to its former glory in 2023. The original 120-year-old timber frames and wood floors have been preserved, while the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and drywall have all been replaced. The result is a stunning apartment that retains its 18th-century charm while also offering all the modern conveniences.

Spend a night here on your way down the parkway. Your accommodations may be utilitarian, but the price is appropriately low. This rental is in a four-unit apartment so you might encounter neighbors. Cloudbreak is a scenic road on top of the ridge surrounded by farmland. It is parallel to the highway but far enough avoid the traffic. This rental is ideally located for you to visit Meadows of Dan (3.1 mi) and Fred Clifton Park (3.9 mi) on the way down the mountain (Stuart, Martinsville, etc.)
