Absolutely beautiful location and the Caboose itself was delightful! We definitely enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this place for a great unique getaway.

This place was perfect for a one night stay. It was exactly as advertised and Marilyn was prompt with her communication even when we arrived close to 10:00 pm. Oatmeal was provided (which is like, all I eat for breakfast) and both my girlfriend and I noted the cleanliness. It was simple and convenient to check in and out and the mountain view was great for an early morning meditation before departing. Definitely would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

Debbie is a great host with great customer service. Very responsive and proactive as we were checking in late after a Virginia Tech football game. Debbie has great attention to detail in her Airbnb and you feel like you are at home. Thank you!!

This place so absolutely so cute! I honestly already trying to figure out when I can go back again. It was so peaceful, they had water in the fridge, coffee for the morning and woke up to fresh baked goods that were delicious! Having a fire going next to a flowing creek, and the fair lights and nature really made this such a soothing experience. If you’re thinking of booking this Airbnb here’s your sign to do it!

There are truly no words to describe how amazing Kim’s place was, but I’ll try! The Nests at Chapman Knoll are peaceful, pretty, and unique. I have simply not had a better stay at an Airbnb! The food!!! Oh my word! She made me amazing breakfasts, out of this world charcuterie boards, and dinners that were simply wonderful! Homemade chocolate chip cookies were waiting for me in the kitchen and she even made me some homemade vanilla ice cream one night!!! Not to mention a few specialty cocktails! :) Her daughter provided me with some awesome Young Living essential oils to diffuse during the day which were amazing as well. The scenery, the animals, the decks, the beauty and the quiet relaxation—it was all what my soul so needed…. Thank you Kim for creating a little slice of heaven on earth!!!

This was our fourth stay at Apple Ridge! The cabooses are perfect to stay in and the location is so peaceful & relaxing. We go to get away from the hustle & bustle of life. We enjoy walks around the property and read books. When ready we head into Floyd for drinks (wine, beer & spirits) and food. Excellent hiking trails throughout the area. Definitely a place to visit!

The Motel 7&3/4 Grumble Knot cabin is wonderful! My wife is from the Philippines, and this was her first time seeing fall foliage -- and their place was absoluteky beautiful. The little cabin was great, we loved the food and amenities, plus the kitchenette was perfect. My wife & I agreed that this was the best AirBnB place we have stayed in!

This Airbnb is amazing! So comfortable, so nicely decorated, so many thoughtful touches! Such amazing nice hosts! Even better than the pictures show! We had a wonderful time and felt so at home. Highly recommend this wonderful place!
