This mountain retreat has 3 bedrooms, a loft , & 2 full baths. Thoughtful open floor plan is great for big groups, yet cozy enough as a romantic getaway for 2. Grounds contain a fire pit, walking path, and plenty of room for games. We can accommodate large gatherings. 8 miles from downtown Floyd; 6 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Tucked among the trees on 13 private acres, this cozy dog-friendly cabin is the perfect fall escape. Explore the property with a walk to our private mountain stream, then unwind on the deck, the hot tub or at the fire pit surrounded by fall foliage. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, wineries, zip-lining and a quaint coffee shop. The vibrant town of Floyd, an Appalachian music mecca, is a scenic 20 minute drive away. As a pet-friendly property, we warmly welcome your pets with a $150 pet fee.

A-Frame Mountain Views/Hot Tub/Firepit

Gaze out at the Blue Ridge Mountains from an A-Frame and give back at the same time. Every 10 nights of rentals will provide 1 free night for a family who has adopted or is fostering. 3 bedrooms and a loft with a sofa sleeper allows for 8 guests (10 w/air mattress). 1 dog allowed. Watch the sunset from the hot tub or chairs around the fire pit. Wake up and sip coffee from your private deck at each bedroom. BR Parkway, Floyd VA, Fairystone State Park and Philpott Lake are all 20 mins away.

Nestled in a clearing in the woods, this dog friendly newly remodeled cabin is a short walk to Smartview Recreation area and hiking trails. Whip up a home cooked meal in the well appointed kitchen, then enjoy the privacy and birdsong as you eat out on the front porch. Take your pup with you to Chateau Morissette winery, just 18 miles away, or relax on one of the porches and watch the deer or fox stroll by.

The Cabin

Charming log cabin in great Floyd County location for 2 guests only. Large family room with gas fireplace. Separate bedroom with queen bed, well appointed kitchen, & single bath with stall shower. Located ~22 minutes from I-81, 35 minutes from Virginia Tech, 22 minutes from Floyd Country Store, & ~ 40 minutes to Roanoke. No smoking/vaping on property. Our home is beside/visible from the cabin. We are available if you need anything, but we respect your time and will give you your privacy.

Cabin at Riverview - King bed

There is something for everyone at the Cabin at Riverview. Go tubing on the river or hike nearby Buffalo Mountain. Or take advantage of all the cozy indoor spaces we’ve created for relaxing (or reading or puzzling or playing a game). Enjoy the soothing sights and sounds of the water while rocking on the front porch. Close to many attractions in Meadows of Dan, Galax, Wytheville and Mount Airy. Please note that there is a $50 added fee for pets that is passed on to our cleaners.

Creekside Cabin w/ High Speed Internet

Our cabin offers 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 2 living areas. The cabin is approximately 6 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 174. The cabin can accommodate up to 17 people and is perfect for family gatherings. A beautiful kitchen, WIFI, Directv service and 3 Flat screen televisions provide all the comforts of home. The large, covered front porch over looks a beautiful creek. Buffalo Mountain and the Mabry Mill are just 2 nearby places to visit..
