THE BORGO In the highest point of a hill set in the mosaic of vineyards that characterizes the Chianti Classico area, in the heart of an ancient medieval village, Borgo Argenina was born. The farmhouse, composed of romantic rooms, has as its main objective to allow our guests to enjoy the calm, beauty and pleasures that our region can offer. For this reason our rooms have been restored respecting the traditions: you will find ancient terracotta floors, large walls with warm colors that we discovered during the renovation and our traditional kitchen where you can fully enjoy the Tuscan atmosphere. Our nice loggiato overlooking the vineyards will be the ideal place to enjoy a glass of Chianti Classico in the shade of the pergola of wisteria. THE POSITION Borgo Argenina can be a great starting point to admire the enchanting Gothic majesty of Siena, the historical rival Florence, the Romanesque splendor of the ancient maritime republic of Pisa and a succession of cities of art. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the building in via Vallepiatta 6, in the heart of the Contrada della Selva. It is easily reached by a convenient escalator Fontebranda, near the parking lot of St. Catherine. The output of the escalator is about 30m from the main entrance of casacenti. We provide the Orange room (single). TV, fan, mini-fridge, view on Vallepiatta street, shared bathroom. Check-in 10:00-20:00 hours It may be possible that until 14 o’clock the room is not ready. You can, however, download the luggage and use the service bathroom. Alert in case of check in after 20:00 Unfortunately we do not have a parking lot for guests. Our small B & B is located in the historical center, in a restricted traffic area. You can come with your car entering from Porta S. Marco only to load and unload luggage. Then you have to park outside the ZTL. The parking fee is the closest parking in S. Caterina, Via EsternaFontebranda, but it is very expensive (1h € 2.00. Rate hotel 1Day € 25.00). In the small square in front of the exit of Santa Caterina, you can find free parking spaces bounded by white lines. This area is connected to the way of the B & B with an escalator. If you do not have much luggage I should go directly to the parking lot. If you arrive by train, from the station you can: -take a taxi (about 10 €); -take a bus to Piazza del Sale and Piazza Gramsci and then walk 10 minutes; -A Foot (about 25 min.)

La casa ex cantoniera FS ristrutturata dista circa 60 m da una linea ferroviaria ed al piano terreno abitiamo noi, Marzia e Arturo. Nel nostro B&B la mattina con il bel tempo Vi aspetta una buona colazione all'esterno con pane e marmellate fatte in casa. Gazebi e attrezzature (tavoli, sedie,sdraie e barbecue) all'esterno sono a Vs. disposizione per rendere più gradevole il vostro soggiorno. IL mare con una grande spiaggia libera dista circa 500 m ed è raggiungibile anche a piedi in 15 minuti.

Bosco dell'Iris Nero

L'alloggio si trova presso un podere di campagna, a 5 minuti in auto dal centro di Volterra. Superata Porta Diana, si percorre un breve tratto della strada Comunale di S. Margherita fino all'accesso di una strada bianca, l'indicazione Bosco dell'Iris Nero vi conduce, lungo un percorso di 900 metri, alla locazione. Qui vi sono castagni, ulivi, fiori e la piacevole vista della valle. Si possono incontrare caprioli, istrici e cinghiali. Il cuculo, l'upupa, il picchio abitano il bosco circostante.

Si trova nel nostro B&B Le Aquile al 1° piano. E' una camera doppia (letto matrimoniale king size o due letti singoli) elegante con soffitti con travi in legno a vista, con mobili d'antiquariato e un bagno privato esterno con box doccia a pochi metri dalla stanza. Dispone di un set completo da bagno, un asciugacapelli, un kit di cortesia, un bollitore (con tè e Nescafè) e capsule Nespresso per gustare un tipico caffè italiano. La camera è climatizzata e dotata di wi-fi e TV a schermo piatto.

Vous logerez dans un appartement apte à tout voyageurs. Bien placé au dessus des mûres , près d’un des endroits plus connu de la ville (Porta all’arco ) et de Piazza dei Priori , qui se trouve à environ 400m. Vous vous trouverez près de 3 supermarchés. L’appartement donne suis une très belle vue de campagne où vous pourriez admirer vers l’horizon la mère qui se trouve à environ 50km depuis Volterra.
