The property is located in heart of Gangtok's upscale and peaceful suburb where you can take a relaxed evening stroll. There are few shops nearby which fulfills all basic daily requirements. There is a local taxi stand infront of the property which makes it easily accessible. It was exactly as described. There is lot of space which made my stay comfortable. Ashish the host is always forthcoming and relaxed. I was there with my wife and two year old infant, we didn't face any issues whatsoever. I would personally recommend this property for a relaxed, lesisure and hassle-free stay.

This homestay was exactly as shown in the pictures, the host was really responsive, friendly.During our stay the weather in gangtok was really unpredictable, due to that there is no electricity, water. But the host make sure we are comfortable and kept checking on us. The host guided us really well and she is the best host.

We had a very comfortable great stay here. It was a very well maintained property and the hosts are really accompanting. They even serve homely breakfast which is delicious. Mr. Tenzing and Mr. Chedup are extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Gangtok.

it was excellent stay for couple of days..the apartment was superb clean...sabita madam and the kids helped with everything including luggage ..it was nice to meet them as well...such good people..view from the bedroom is picturesque and wonderful...away from the hustle bustle of the city... overall very good...

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Payong House in Gangtok during our family vacation. The homestay was extremely comfortable, clean, and truly family- and kid-friendly. The food served was tasty and homely, which made us feel well taken care of. The location was also very convenient for exploring Gangtok. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families visiting Gangtok!

Excellent stay at North Sikkim Homestay. This was a 3BR property with 2 rooms giving aesthetic view of the mountains. The facility manager Karma Lepcha was extremely helpful and polite. The rooms have 2 comfortable mattresses placed right by the window. Amazing stay. Actually far better than the photos.

This has to be one of the best AirBnBs I've stayed in. It is a very vintage, classy and storybook-like house with wooden flooring, big rooms and a bathtub. I'm glad I found this property, although it is meant for a large group and we were just 4 in number. I will certainly stay here when I visit Gangtok again. This is right on MG Marg and also offers a beautiful view of the city from the balcony. Big ups for maintaining the property so well.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung hat alles was man benötigt. Sie ist gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Tshegyal war immer erreichbar und hat uns bei Fragen geholfen. Die Unterkunft liegt in ruhiger Lage, ein bisschen entfernt vom Zentrum. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Gangtok! The location is very convenient—just about 5 km from MG Marg, and getting a taxi is never a problem. If you’re driving your own car, you’re welcome too, as the property is close to a dedicated and safe parking spot. What truly made this stay special was the incredible hospitality of the host Sanskriti and her father. They treated me like family—more like guardians than hosts. They were always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was equipped with a brand-new fridge, bed, and cover, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the furniture was from Damro—high-quality and premium. It’s clear that they aren’t just running this place for money; they’re truly passionate about providing the best hospitality possible. Out of all my hill station stays, this has been the best experience so far. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok—you won’t be disappointed.

It was lovely, I booked it for a family short vacation. Well equipped, spacious, clutter free, and clean. It is the best for family or big groups. Location is safe and reachable for services like zomato etc. Host is friendly and responsive, I got all the details proactively. Overall Positive from all POVs.

My family enjoyed the stay at Orchid Stays. Kids were very comfortable too. Khagesh has been very professional and was available to help us have a great experience not only for our stay but also to plan our Sikkim tour. On request, they served delicious home-cooked meals made from their own home-grown organic ingredients — every dish was fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. The entire property was maintained with excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They also kindly allowed us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated.
